Wonderful clean hotel and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was excellent. The room was amazing quality and toiletries and fruit bowl refreshed every day. Free pass for the elevator was super useful. Next time we will go for a room with outside space or a view as I think this would have made it even better. Really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.

Fantastic
The hotel is beautiful and, being high on a hill, has fabulous views from many rooms and patios. The staff knew our names and room number and someone met us at the door with our room key each time we returned to the hotel. The check-in process was the best we ever had - we were shown to a lovely terrace where we sat and enjoyed a free welcome drink until they returned our passports and had us sign that our info was correct. The room was just about the nicest of any we've ever stayed in. There was fresh fruit, a small cake and bottled water which were all replaced daily. The location on the hill made the drive to and from the town is a little hard but there is an elevator about 500 m walkîng dlstance from the hotel that deliveres you into the town. Highly recommend!

Spent two nights here while visiting Salzburg: this was one of the very best experiences we’ve had. From check in through the end of our stay, the service was impeccable. Room was amazing - we were second from the top with a 270 degree view of the city. We had a multi-course meal at The Glass Garden and an informal dinner the next night in their restaurant/bar: excellent wine and drink selection, exceptional food, and again wonderful service. The pool and jacuzzi area is beautiful, and we enjoyed that area twice. Short 10 minute walk gets you to an elevator that takes you right down to town. Perfect home base for a classy Salzburg adventure!
