Great location and the room was clean and well-maintained. We booked a city view room on a high floor, but it faced the construction side of the building and we were woken up early every morning by the noise. We stayed three nights and asked the front desk about switching to a room facing Parliament Hill, but were told nothing was available. My suggestion to the hotel: rooms affected by construction noise shouldn't be sold at full city view rates. It's not good value, and frankly, it's not fair to guests who don't know what they're getting into.

Clean, well maintained. Central and convenient for downtown, Byward, Parliament buildings and museums. Front desk a bit of a misnomer - more like a kiosk, not the staff's fault but ends up feeling chaotic and unwelcoming. Not a reflection of staff who were friendly and accommodating. Parking also chaotic as valet service is très cher! but a well lit city parking lot is located off Dalhousie on Clarence - 2 minute walk from the hotel.

We had an absolutely exceptional stay! The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. Our room was immaculate, exceptionally cozy, and offered a stunning view of the city. We particularly enjoyed the accessible location, which allowed for easy exploration of nearby attractions. Highly recommended.

The lobby had a strong unpleasant odor that resembled rotten eggs, and our roon had bad sweat odor perhaps from people who stayed before us or the hotel staff that cleaned it prior to our arrival - which was disappointing given both the price point and the reputation of this hotel brand. The rooftop space is excellent, and the location is undoubtedly one of the property's biggest strengths. However, beyond those highlights, the overall experience was fairly average. If you're simply looking for a place to sleep, it will do the job, but there are several better and more affordable options nearby that offer greater value for money.
