It’s a central location which is a big plus. It’s also surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the train and bus station. It’s a. It ‘no frills’ but considering we were up and out enjoining breakfast in the cafes and not back until late, it was ideal. Our room was small but it didn’t bother us. If you’re looking for a place that is cheap, clean, tidy and friendly this is ideal.

I was so hot, and we chose a no windows room. This hotel doesn’t have A/C. Hotel staff said there’s ventilation on the ceiling. At 3 am, the room temperature was getting better.

It reminded me of a university hostel. Long corridors quirky sayings and numbers on doors. Ecological and economical! My room was a shoebox in size but then what does one really need? The sheets and duvets were sparkling clean white. Plenty of hot water with good pressure- mind your step going into the bathroom- it’s quite high- not for oldies with hip problems. Staff at Barception very warm welcoming and helpful. Especially Emma who became my conscierge. Then lastly of course it’s the location- right next door to the Arlanda Express station which takes you to the airport in 11 minutes - can’t beat that!!

Excellent place to stay close to the old city and right above the express train to the airport. The room is very small and this is reflected in the good price. A good choice if you want to tour all day and have a quiet and clean place to go to at the end of the day
