Fantastic 5.0
Nice guide for hopping around. The guide Giovanni has lots of local knowledge about the area and its history. He even shared his favorite places through a dedicated website, very handy after a short intro to the city.

Fantastic 5.0
Mario, the bus driver and tour guide, is highly experienced and has a great sense of humor. He kept everyone entertained throughout the journey by chatting over the mic, making this one-day tour fun from start to finish. If you ever come across a guide like Mario, you can certainly rest assured that you'll have a reassuring and memorable trip.

Great 4.0
it maybe that this is just a new offering and my guide was still unfamiliar with the set up but before and after the trip he insisted that he was not paid yet as the provider tagged my tour as "free". I gave him 20 euros after and just thought of it as a tip but it was confusing at rhe very least. Also we had some trouble communicating as he had some issues with English. As for the meal part only 1 main was covered. It was lovely but I didn't know what exactly ti expect given the vague description. Still a nice way to see Oslo highlights but could use some improvement.

Fantastic 5.0
The captain and the entire crew paid excellent attention to safety and looked after us exceptionally well. Having a live guide providing commentary felt much warmer and more engaging than listening to a pre-recorded audio track. There were two restrooms on board—both were new, spacious, and clean, with one specifically designed for passengers with disabilities. Seating offered great privacy on both the first and second decks, and snacks and drinks were available for purchase throughout the 2.5-hour trip. The boat departed and returned right on schedule, and the scenic views at every stop were breathtaking. This is definitely a cruise company you should experience at least once in a lifetime.

What to know before visiting Oslo

Top experiences and seasonality to know

Oslo’s Things to Do are led by Tours and Cruises, followed by Museums and a small selection of outdoor and sports activities; demand ramps up through spring and peaks in June before easing later in the year. Museums and indoor options stay relatively steady in the quieter months, while boats and guided tours dominate the high season.

What different travellers tend to enjoy here

Families will find museums and cruises easy to fit into a relaxed itinerary, with museums offering the most budget‑friendly access and cruises being a fuss‑free way to see the fjords. Couples often opt for guided tours or scenic cruises for a mix of local insight and romance. Solo travellers and small groups can pick from the widest range of tours, which cover budget to mid‑range options and suit flexible, interest‑led days out.

What travellers from the Philippines typically book ahead

Most visitors from the Philippines book comparatively close to travel: many activities can be arranged a day or two before arrival, but the earliest planners still secure key experiences around two weeks in advance. Booking ahead becomes more important in the peak month of June, when demand is noticeably higher.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Museums are the easiest, most budget‑friendly entry point for most visitors, while Outdoor & sports activities sit at the premium end of the range. Tours offer the widest spread of prices and options, making them the best choice for travellers seeking either value or a more curated experience; cruises sit near tours in mid‑range pricing and are ideal for visitors wanting scenic, convenient outings. Overall, museums suit cost‑conscious visitors, tours suit those wanting choice, and outdoor activities suit travellers prepared to pay more for specialty experiences.
