Get the experience of a lifetime during your trip to Bali by trying out white water rafting at the stunning Ayung River, the longest river on the island. Marvel at the river's gorgeous surroundings, including lush rainforests, gorgeous waterfalls, and beautiful gorges! Enjoy a convenient pick up at your hotel, then travel comfortably to the rafting starting point inside an air-conditioned vehicle. Once you arrive, you'll change into your rafting clothes and equipment and be briefed by the professional guides about the proper rafting techniques and safety rules. Set off on your exhilarating rafting adventure, which lasts for a bit over an hour, and feel the cool water splashing on your skin as you make your way to the finish line. Rest and recharge with a delicious buffet meal that features a variety of fresh, local dishes, before you shower and start to head back to your hotel. This is a fun, family-friendly activity that all thrillseekers should try at least once during their visit to Bali!
Travel the off beaten path in Bali and go white water rafting down the Telaga Waja River. Despite being in a quiet and secluded area, white water rafting is a wild (albeit safe) water sport that's perfectly suited for nature lovers and adrenaline junkies alike. You'll be assisted by a professional team, so there's nothing to worry about at all. Throughout the 14 kilometer course, you'll get to see beautiful panoramas of mountains, waterfalls, rice fields, and stone cliffs. Around Rendang Village, you'll be greeted by fresh mountain air and (if you're lucky) wild exotic birds. A delicious chef-prepared Indonesian buffet lunch will be waiting for you at the finish point.
My family was initially in a bad mood and did not want to go for this package the night before due to our country’s sudden policy on lockdown and we would then have to be quarantined for 2 weeks when we return...literally messed up all our travel plans long story
However we decided to show up anyway after much contemplation and we had SO MUCH FUN! No regrets!
This package will cover the highlights of Bali in one day! The swing place they will bring you to is the original one in bali where you can get access to any swings and nests(you are usually required to pay for the individual swings and nests in other places). There is a variety of swings(flower swings, couple swings, thrilling swing, etc) and nests too! i also cannot emphasise enough on how beautiful the view was! there’s a delicious buffet lunch provided too!
Next, we went for the Ayung River Rafting which covered a distance of 10km! Our guide(?) made our day VERY memorable with the jokes and made us laugh so much. He was very nice so we bought him a drink and tipped him! This was also definitely a very fun activity overall, although I wish it was more thrilling. Was sad when it ended and had to part with our awesome guide! Also had a super delicious buffet dinner(?) with a gorgeous view after our activity!
Lastly, we did some mandatory shopping at the ubud market where we bought souvenirs like shell bracelets, keychains, shirts and dream catchers. The shops mostly sell similar/same items so I recommend bargaining at the different shops and see which one has the best deal. I found a WAYYY nicer shell bracelet which i was able to bargain to the same price i got another shell bracelet from another shop :( so this is just a little pro tip, although it might be kinda obvious to some!
We didn’t have much time left so we went to catch a glimpse of the rice terrace before heading back to our hotel!
Overall, this activity is a must do as you get to touch of the highlights of bali all in one day with 2 buffet at a good price! Only con is that it is not very flexible as you would have to complete your respective activities in a certain time, if not you won’t have time to for the other activities(we had to rush our shopping at the ubud market) Also would like to give our driver a big thumbs up as he is very very sweet! Great day!
Chris was our guide today and he was very funny and a great instructor. I will do this again in a heartbeat. The scenery you go through is breathtaking. We went with Red Paddle Bali and the food they had for lunch was very yummy. The midway point was a great time to get out, grab a drink and take some photos. The stairs going down were steep but easy enough and the stairs going back up were ok, a lot of flat landings in between the stairs.
Sudi was my driver and he was simply fantastic. He arrived promptly at the hotel lobby and greeted us with a smile. Throughout the whole journey, he was very chatty and shared insights about Bali. This package is really value for money and we had a great time especially at the Bali Swing and Rice terrace. A point to take note at the rice terrace is that they asked for donations if you want to enter the paddy fields. However, though it’s called donation which should be given based on your own free will, they will asked for more. Overall, it’s still double thumbs up for me!
Definitely a worthy experience to visit the Bali Swing, Talagang Rice fields and Massage at the end of the day to relieve all the stress under the hot Bali weather. Our driver Pak Kimbaksa is surely the guy that make u feel at ease for safety and friendly for conversation. highly recommended to purchase from Klook for hassle-free and confident arrangements.
This was by far the best thing we've done in Bali!
The stairs down to the river we're about 200 long maybe more but when you get to the river into the raft it's all worth it. Our guide was quite humourous too, which added to the experience. Don't feel worried that you're not fit enough or it's too scary because the guide does most of the work and there's only a few rough spots. Not for seasoned rafters but definitely a fun experience
Rafting with Red Paddles along Agung River is our best experience in Bali. We were first picked up to Red Paddles Office, checked-in, put our belongings into the locker, got our equipment (helmets, lifecoat, paddle) there. Then we got on a car ride for 15-20' to the upstream. Then walk down around 300 steps to the river. It rained strongly that day, and we got a more than exciting experience of rafting in a strong river, paved with wide forest, met sonetimes small waterfalls. The guide Duitt is friendly and full of enthousiasm. We rafted for 1.30', including some small stops to take photos. Near the stop, there is a photo taking point where a guy with camera under the rain waiting to take great photos for us from the bank. At the stop, we walked upstair for about 200 steps back to the Paddle Office where we take bath with hot water, and a dinner. All is great.
