Book through Klook and avail of two-day tickets that’ll grant you access to more than 30 sites for two consecutive days, including the Port Arthur Gallery, where you can immerse yourself in its many interactive exhibits and marvel at the displays that tell the story of this incredible historic site as well as the people who lived there. The ticket also entitles you to a 40-minute introductory walking tour around the area as well as a 25-minute cruise by the nearby harbor. This is definitely a must-visit open-air museum for anyone going on a trip to Australia, especially for history buffs.

Had a blast on this tour! Highly recommend especially if you don’t want to do a car hire. You get a lot of exclusive tours of places mostly in the northern parts of Bruny island. Lots of opportunity for photos. The experiences we had with the cheese, chocolates, honey tasting and the various walks and museum were wonderful. Our guide for the day, David is also a exceptional and charismatic bloke. You’re in for a treat on this tour!

This tour made it possible to see different parts of Bruny Island and savour local delicacies all in one day. My favorite was the oysters and the cheese and ale. The whisky stop was nice for the view. I also enjoyed the Neck lookout and stepping on to the beach for a bit of a splash. Lily was a great guide and I enjoyed the day even as a solo traveller.

The site was very big so good to cater at least one full day if you really want to walk around. If you’re short on time, recommend not to take the introductory tour, just the boat ride is enough, unless you’re really interested in the history. The introductory tour was a little disappointing. The guide brings you to 3 grassy areas and pointed out some buildings in the distance while he talked about the history, then he will bring everyone to one of the buildings and talk more. I thought at least the guide will bring everyone around one big round, talking as we went but it was mostly standing in place for a total of 45 mins. other than that, this is a nice place that is everyone should go if you’re in the area.

Our tour guide is Tim, who is a caring person. He told every location n history with details, also shared some jokes while we’re waiting for the ship loading which is so sweet. And the factory / farm like oyster, cheese, chocolate, whisky, winery are with clear information by stuff. We enjoyed the free taste and the view also. Highly recommend!!

The tour was a feast for both the mouth and eyes. Paired with great views was even better food and a dedicated tour guide who was just delightful to talk and be with. This is perfect for people who love food, because it lets you taste so many different things in small but not insignificant amounts, so you will always have appetite for the next tasting incoming. Something to note would be the Whiskey tasting - the Gin is absolutely spectacular. Not only is it a party trick with guests, it has a complexity that few gins can beat.
