James Bond fans won’t want to miss a visit to Khao Tapu in scenic Phang Nga Bay on their trip to Phuket. This island was the site of Scaramanga’s famous pistol duel with Roger Moore as 007 in “The Man with the Golden Gun”. Start your day with an easy transfer to the Phuket Marina Pier, where you will meet the crew and board the speedboat to Phang Nga bay. First stop is Panak Island, where you will explore the caves formed by the unique topography of the Andaman Sea. The island also has a beautiful lagoon that is perfect for swimming. Afterwards, the boat will make a stop at Khao Tapu, the famous James Bond Island. Step out and recreate the famous duel scene from the movie! Once you’ve exhausted all your 007 poses, head out for lunch on Panyi Island. The island is home to a small commune of seafaring Muslims who have built their village on stilts over the water, giving the appearance of a floating city. In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely paddle through a mangrove forest on Hong Island before finishing off the day at Khai Island, where you can swim in the clear waters or relax on the beach.

Live out your inner 007 with this tour that takes you straight to the iconic James Bond Island from the movie, 'The Man with the Golden Gun', and get to explore the rest of the beautiful Phang Nga Bay while you're at it! At 10:00am, your pick up will fetch you from the hotel and take you straight to the pier for the tour. Before exploring the bay however, you will be taken to Suwankuha Temple, home to the famous reclining Buddha. Here you'll have a chance to spot some local monkeys, but be careful since these crazy critters are known for taking your cameras, bags, food—anything and everything they can get their hands on!—so be mindful of your belongings. After exploring the temple, you'll get on a traditional Thai long boat to explore the rest of the Phang Nga Bay National Park, and then to Panyee village, the floating Muslim village for lunch. Discover the beautiful history and culture of the village as you hop from shack to shack, meeting some of the locals. After lunch, travel to the famous James Bond Island, locally known as Khao Ping Kan. Feel free to recreate your favorite James Bond scenes or jump in the water for a swim! If you decided to go with Package B, you'll even get to kayak to some of the sea caves at Talu Island—a great way to cap off the day.

What people are saying about Island Tours in Phuket

This tour is a gem for those who want to enjoy a peaceful day at a beautiful location. The boat is only about 20 minutes . This is perfect if you want an experience that doesn't involve getting off and on a boat all day. At the island there are beautiful beaches and scenery. A lot of travelers use this tour for photography portraits . There arn't many people here either. The lunch provided is fantastic and there is plenty of choices. Snorkeling is available and the ocean is clear and blue, you may even meet some dolpins. Your here for about 6 hours and the time is all yours to enjoy what you like . For me there's loads of photos and I get to experiment with my photos without the crowds , the beaches are not crowded at all. The staff are all great, very friendly and always there if you need anything. I got picked up and returned to my hotel . This is a fantastic day if your after some true relaxation and peace. I've done it twice and will do it again next time I'm in Phuket.

This tour was amazing!! It was very well organized and went to all the beautiful places you must visit when you are in Phuket. And our tour guided, Soy, was super funny and informative, she made this tour extra fun. Just one down thing about this was the long wait to check in but that's normal since it's a shared tour. But other than that, literally everything was perfect! I loved how the speedboat was really clean too! Loved how they offer drinks and snacks all through out the trip. We are actually planning to book Phi Phi Island tour with them tomorrow since our experience with them yesterday was so awesome, I trust their service! I really highly recommend doing tours with SeaStar!

The tour went very smoothly. Pick up and drop off was available! Our guide was fantastic and the boat crew as well. It was a fun, relaxing day visiting 3 different sites, enjoying a good lunch on the boat and returning back to Phuket at around 1600hrs. For Kayaking, there are people who row you around, you don't do it yourself I would recommend this tour to those looking to visit the Phang Nga Bay and make a few stops.

We really enjoyed the experience, the speedboat was a great choice. Beautiful places and the interval between each that we visited are just enough and not rushing. My boyfriend and I appreciate the lead tour guide, we traveled as a couple and he actively sought us to offer photograph assistance (without being asked) so we could have a nice memory to keep, which we did! He attentively looked after other passengers so well too. Definitely worth to go in Phuket!

This is one of the best tours we have taken in Phuket. We had taken this trip in April last year and we had liked it so much that we chose to go for the same tour during our trip this time as well. The kayaking through the cave is definitely an experience to remember for a long time. This year they have improved the lunch menu as well 😊.
