It was a smooth tour. The guide has managed the time perfectly, we had ample time to take photos and enjoy the place. The bus was comfortable. Our guide is a French Woman who’s really funny and approachable. The intern was also very warm and accommodating. If you wish to have a Kyoto day tour from Osaka... this is highly recommended.
For the 3 trips that I booked through Klook, the first trip that we attended had the best tour guide - Sherry (pardon me i think that is her name) - a French lady. She is very understanding and had requested her assistant to keep up with my hubby who is slow In his movement )he was using walking stick too) - for that I am grateful as I would move forward with the group to listen to her introduction to the various visits. She was clear with her briefings and introductions. In fact I introduced this tour to my brother who is visiting Kyoto in April. It covers all the must-bust places.
Overall, it's a wonderful and informative tour! A must try if you have limited time in Kyoto. Just imagine, you'll try to roam around the best of Kyoto in just one whole day! Haha, we enjoyed the temple hopping as well as the lunch. P.S. The tour bus as well as the guide won't wait for you, so, do your very best to be always on time 🤣🤣🤣
What a wonderful day. This tour provided a great snapshot of Kyoto and allowed us to see many key sites in an efficient way. Lanny our guide was great, she was humorous and fun.
I would suggest researching the pick up location the night before, doing so meant we had no issues in locating the Osaka pick up in the early morning.
Despite large crowds of tourists Lanny provided key tips for where we could wonder off to get more private photos of the landscape, shrines or bamboo.
I would highly recommend all of the shrines and temples we visited in this one day tour.
The lunch included was a wonderful chicken hot pot which we enjoyed.
A very nice experience if you can't make more time for a trip to Kyoto. We availed of this tour to see Kyoto during a side trip from Osaka. The tour was well planned and thought of, and comprehensive :) Jun, our tour guide, was also loads of fun and shared not only information on the places but also Japanese culture.
Bring good shoes for walking and avail of the package with lunch included - it's a very nice Japanese treat.
My experience was really good. it was easy to find the meeting point, from where we boarded the bus. The tour was really really good if you want to cover everything in a day. but if you want to see every spot in detail then you should not go for this, coz this will be a rush, and you have to walk a lot.
but since we had only a day, it was the perfect tour for us. but after the tour we realized we should have a day more to experience the beauty of Kyoto.
the guide was really very informative, and explained a lot in detail. I really enjoyed the tour, and was lucky to get some good photos, coz all the stops were so beautiful and crowded, even though it was raining and it was a weekday.
I would surely go back to Kyoto if I get another chance. the city is beautiful and full of history.
