This tour is awesome. Our tourguide Ian is so helpful and kind. We are only 8 on the van so it is more comfortable and you can even mingle and chat with other tourists. Ian even helped us taking our pictures and always willing to help whatever we need. He also gave his number and told us that we can call or chat him if we have questions when we are still here in Malaysia. Weather is humid. Just bring your umbrellas and cap knowing Malaysia is a tropical country. I recommend this tour especially to historic travelers who want to know the importance of Melaka to it's country. This is a must here!
We really enjoyed the tour from our tour guide MC. He gave very good explanations from everything and told us many stories. The logistics and the length of the free time in between are all perfect. We liked the lunch a lot too. Highly recommend this tour to people staying in KL and want to check out Melaka in one day!
We really had fun! We fell in love with Melaka/Malacca and its beautiful story. Our tour guide Nadia was so kind and friendly. Had the chance to chitchat over coffee with people from other countries too. Thank you so much! 😊
PS: Visit The Daily Fix coffee shop. Nadia recommended it and I must say it’s a place to go if you wanna try great coffee and take instagramable photos. So cozy. 🙂
A wonderful experience of Melaka!! Ian, our guide and Vishnu, our driver were excellent. Ian is very knowledgeable about Malaysia and it's history and has a very interesting way of narrating it with a lot of humor. Vishnu is an excellent driver. Very safe and conscientious. Thank you two for a very interesting experience of Melaka.
a day is really not enough to explore beautiful Melaka but this tour can at least give you a taste of that.
our tour guide Mr. Lucas is prompt,.no fuss, subtly humorous and is extremely knowledgeable about history. stories about Melaka weave the past and present together helping you to understand why Malaysia is so beautifully diverse.
And yes, the food was authentic and amazing as well. ❤️
Reasons to book besides making your trip to Melaka convenient:
- THE TOUR GUIDE AND BUS DRIVERS ARE AWESOME. Special shout out to Nadia (tour guide) and Kelvin (coach driver) who were very accommodating and efficient. Nadia not only shared her invaluable knowledge of Melaka's history and culture but she was very gracious in sharing insider tips on what to buy, what to eat and what to experience not only in Melaka but also in Kuala Lumpur. Nadia also gave us options (i.e. whether to hike up to St. Paul's Hill or just rest at Afomosa, whether to rent a trikshaw tour or just explore Jonker Street). Nadia also offered to take photos for tour joiners. Timing and meet up points were also communicated very clearly so the whole trip was very smooth and proceeded as planned.
- ITINERARY. One of the reasons why some people hesitate to join group tours is the lack of sufficient time to explore places on their own. This was not the case in this tour since it did not feel rushed and we had enough time to take photos and just enjoy exploring the streets of Melaka.
- COACH WAS COMFORTABLE. The four-hour ride was very relaxing since the coach had wide leg room and it was well-maintained.
I've joined many group tours through Klook but this has got to be one of the best!
