Their anime music videos have amassed millions of views from fans all around the globe.
For Burnout Syndromes, creating an anime song starts with reading the manga. “We read the manga to learn the pace and tempo of the story,” said Kumagai. “We want the fans to get super excited when they first hear the song, so we want to make sure we carry that energy over from the manga.”
Influenced by Japanese bands like Asian Kung Fu Generation and Bump of Chicken, their unique brand of music is characterized by literature-inspired lyrics and thoughtfully crafted arrangements.
Following their successful Oricon Chart hit albums Bungaku Shoujo (文學少女), Lemon (檸檬), Kujaku (孔雀) and Myoujou (明星), BURNOUT SYNDROMES released their highly anticipated greatest hits album, “The WORLD is Mine” in 2023. The album featured all of the trio's most popular anime songs along with remixed and rearranged versions of their original tracks.
To mark the long-awaited release of their latest album, BURNOUT SYNDROMES also unveiled the music video for FLY HIGH!! - English Ver. -, the English version of their debut song. Originally featured as the opening theme of the popular anime series Haikyū!! With the Japanese version, this was the band's first-ever English song, showcasing their versatility and passion for music beyond language barriers.
