O/Aural Waves: Red Hill | Storytelling Information

Discover oral storytelling through immersive auditory and visual experiences designed to encourage deep listening in children. Journey into Singapura’s historical past as the legend of attacking swordfish is brought to life with art and technology. Experience foley, sound-making, and visual projections through hands-on participatory methods that encourage children to become co-creators of the story.

This storytelling experience requires the wearing of wireless headphones throughout the session.

Learning Objectives

Learn about a local tale, The Legend of Bukit Merah, through the performance.

Experience storytelling through various forms such as sound-making, multimedia, and movement.

Practice and develop listening skills and habits through storytelling.

Foster teamwork through a co-creation process with the artists to create stories together.
