Regarding boat ticket redemption, you need to arrive at the designated location 1 hour in advance to redeem your boat ticket and tag your luggage. You will also need to pay port tax fees. After redeeming your ticket, collect your luggage and follow the staff to the pier to wait for boarding. The boat will first stop at the Gili Islands (Gili T, Gili Meno & Gili Air), and finally at Lombok (Bangsal Port). Staff will attach tags to your luggage for identification.

They take care of everything for you. I recommend buying this instead of getting hassled by touts ^^ It took about an hour and a half from Padang Bai to Gili. If you're prone to motion sickness, I recommend taking motion sickness medicine beforehand~ It's freezing inside, so bring a long-sleeved shirt. Everyone was shivering, lol.

The ferry I took from Bali to Gili Trawangan. There are two ports on Bali Island where you can catch the ferry: Serangan and Padang Bai. If you want to minimize travel time, I recommend Padang Bai. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Serangan to Gili Trawangan via Padang Bai, and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Padang Bai. However, if you want to sit comfortably with your group from the beginning, I recommend Serangan since it's the departure point. Because many people board at Serangan, you may end up squeezing into the remaining seats at Padang Bai. Even on a clear day, the waves were quite strong near Gili, so if you are prone to seasickness, I recommend taking seasickness medication 30 minutes before boarding. (They also distribute seasickness medicine on the boat, and it's quite effective.) Overall, I was satisfied with the ride. If you go to Gili Island, I recommend BlueWater Express.

We had an amazing day exploring Bali! The snorkeling at Blue Lagoon was beautiful — clear water, colourful fish, and such a peaceful vibe. Afterwards, we visited Tirta Gangga and wow those fish were amazing. The gardens were stunning as well. We then made our way to the Lempuyang Temple (Gate of Heaven), which was absolutely stunning and worth the trip. The views were breathtaking, and the experience felt so special. We stopped in at a coffee plantation along the way and it was an additional experience we didn’t expect - free coffee and tea samples were a special way to give us a break in our travel. A big thank you to our driver Aris, who made the whole day easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour if you want a mix of adventure, culture, and amazing scenery — and definitely ask for Aris! 🌊🏝️⛰️

Bawa, our driver, was so gentle and created a relaxing atmosphere!!! I was so tired the day before that I fell asleep in the car, and he even turned off the radio for me. When I told him I was married, he congratulated me, too! I was debating whether or not to go snorkeling before coming to Bali, but I highly recommend it. The beach we went to after snorkeling was the highlight. Not many Koreans know about it yet, so it wasn't crowded and we could relax! It was truly the best.

I was picked up at my Seminyak hotel at 8 AM. The Blue Lagoon snorkeling was fun, and the food wasn't bad. DARMADI was my guide, and he was kind and helpful. The Gates of Heaven is a great photo spot. Waiting for photos takes a long time, so you can take pretty pictures at nearby cafes or other places with views. If you do a 2-person tour, you get a personal driver who takes you around in a car. You have to wait 2 and a half hours to take pictures at the Gates of Heaven, but I was satisfied after taking them.

Our driver Gede is very nice! He arrived on time and we chatted a lot. Snorkeling is beyond expectation!! It’s very safe for beginners and the coach took care of us very well. They teach you how to use mask and help with everything. ATV includes lunch and the coach will lead you.
