Our jeep driver,Koma, was very polite and genuinely made the experience very enjoyable and immersive. He took very many photos of us and got us the best spot on the hill to view the moonset and sunrise. Luckily it was not raining in the morning so we were safe throughout the trip even to the Black Lava.

Today, I went on a jeep tour. Colo did his best to get the best photos for us, and we are very satisfied. We'd love to use this service again.

I started getting ready at 2:30 AM, so I was quite tired, but I have absolutely no regrets. When I got to the lobby at 2:40 AM, Melanie, who loves Korean and speaks it very fluently, was there. It was a great hiking experience with full round-trip transfers, much easier than going alone. Many of the guides were very enthusiastic and easy to communicate with. Regarding food, there were hot drinks before departure and breakfast at the summit. My friend and I weren't in the best physical shape and fell behind a bit during the ascent, but the thoughtful female guide specifically waited for us and checked on our condition. The sunrise at the summit of Mount Batur was beautiful, and experiencing it with people from all over the world was also one of the joys.
