Things to do in Bulguksa Temple

Had a wonderful tour in Gyeongju, the ancient capital of Korea. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly, making the city’s rich history come alive with engaging stories and clear explanations. Kayla Kim especially was very patient and helpful throughout the tour, taking us to good photo spots as well which made the experience even more enjoyable. Really appreciated the effort and would highly recommend this tour!

If you have luggage, please notify us in advance, as there is no dedicated space for luggage in the vehicle. Itinerary: Reasonable and sufficient; every attraction is worth visiting. This is a very comprehensive and fun excursion. Keep in mind that there's limited time at each location to see everything, but you'll have enough time to visit all of them if you organize yourself well. This type of excursion is perfect for seeing tourist sites that are far apart if you don't have access to a car. Personally, I loved it; the places you visit are beautiful, and they make an effort to take you when there are hardly any people. In fact, we were the first ones at the suspension bridge and were able to enjoy the views all to ourselves. Lastly, I want to recommend our fantastic guide, Park, who was very kind and considerate. He took us to eat at a typical rice restaurant that was delicious. Without a doubt, highly recommended.

registered for the Mandarin guided tour, and it was well worth it! our guide was Sunny, and she speaks Mandarin well! she was very knowledgeable about the locations in our itinerary and always very helpful with photo-taking for members in the same tour. overall a wonderful trip!

From morning to night, led by Lisa (Chinese-speaking) and Song (English-speaking), we enjoyed the scenery of various places. Their explanations along the way were clear, there was ample free time for activities, and they provided great recommendations for food and shopping. The tour guides proactively helped everyone take photos, which was very thoughtful.

I went with my friend to that tour on March 7th and we both had lots of fun. We were a small group which felt more intimate so it was easier to hear our guide. By the way if you’re able to choose your guide I recommend Yaho. He really has the knowledge, experience and the passion for a tour guide. I’ve learned so much more about Korean history from him and it also helps that he’s originally from Busan. Our itinerary was Ahopsan Forest, Bulguska Temple, Gyochon village, Daereungwon Tomb and Woljeong Bridge. Additionally we also had a food market for a free time in the end of the trip. Yaho really took care for both me and my friend for a restaurant that has vegetarian options which is really considerate from him. I had a variety to choose from which I’m truly grateful for. I really recommend joining this tour and Yaho as a tour guide.

I just finished the Gyeongju World Heritage One-Day Tour, and it was an incredibly worthwhile experience! Starting with Bulguksa Temple's exquisite stone architecture and thousand-year-old Buddhist art, I was deeply impressed by the grandeur of the Silla Dynasty. Then, strolling through Yangdong Village, the traditional Korean houses and tranquil ancient village atmosphere felt like traveling back in time to the Joseon Dynasty. The Cheonmachong Tomb and the ancient burial mounds at Daereungwon offered a powerful historical impact, with each mound telling stories from a millennium ago. Finally, admiring the night view at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and Woljeong Bridge, the lake illuminated by lights was as beautiful as a painting—truly therapeutic! Our guide, Lena, was professional and engaging. She perfectly connected Gyeongju's most essential World Heritage sites in one day, with just the right amount of time, never feeling rushed, yet incredibly fulfilling. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves history, culture, and beautiful scenery; it will definitely be one of the most unforgettable days of your trip to Korea!
