Things to do in Bordeaux

The wine tasting tour was a great experience. The chateau was exceptional, the wines were well chosen, and Mathis was very knowledgeable and accomodating. Worth the visit!!

This museum is located in a négociant's residence and office. Although the exhibits are limited, they clearly explain the relationship between Bordeaux wine and négociants. (The Japanese in the translation materials is a little difficult to understand, though...) There's a tasting at the end, but it doesn't start unless there are English-speaking staff and visitors who need an English explanation. Also, I was kept waiting for almost an hour because the previous French-speaking visitors were drinking so many glasses. But I was able to enjoy wines I'd never tasted before, so it was worth the wait.

Using the 48hr citypass to join the cruise tour and visit Cité du Vin, Bassins des Lumières, Cailhau Gate, Pey-Berland Tower, and Moon Harbour Distillery is excellent value.

We really enjoyed the tour! It was a mix of biking, sightseeing, and wine tasting, where you can cycle through St. Emilion to take in the stunning views of the region. Our tour guide, Vicky, was extremely professional, friendly, and fun, guiding us throughout the entire experience with detailed explanations of each spot and sharing local stories! E-bikes are so much fun that they’re just as easy to ride as walking on the street, even when climbing hills.

Vicky is a very good tour guide. She is passionate and friendly. I would recommend joining this tour when you would like to visit Arcachon.
