Fantastic 5.0
We had a wonderful and very informative experience on the Toledo, Segovia, and Ávila tour. We learned so much about the history and culture of each place, and we were also given ample time to explore and enjoy the beautiful sights at our own pace. Laura and Eduardo did an excellent job sharing all the information we needed throughout the tour. They were both helpful, friendly, and approachable, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The organization was great, the destinations were fascinating, and the guides made the tour truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Spain!

A must-see landmark in Madrid. While it’s a quick visit, the atmosphere, history, and welcoming people make it memorable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and Worth the Visit The Royal Palace of Madrid is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The architecture, grand rooms, intricate details, and history are all very impressive. We walked through the palace at our own pace and really enjoyed the experience. We used the tour operator simply to secure our tickets, and the process was smooth and convenient. Access was straightforward, and we had no issues. A must-see when visiting Madrid and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

The works of this Spanish artist are truly amazing, with over 1,000 pieces on display. We spent almost an entire day admiring them. If you appreciate oil paintings, you'll definitely want to stay longer. Please note, however, that photography is not allowed inside the museum. Remember to bring your own drinking water, as none is provided. There is a cafe on-site where you can eat, drink, or grab a beverage during your visit. The security staff are friendly and can guide you through the various exhibition halls. Oh, and there's also a photo zone nearby! Don't forget to explore the museum thoroughly. Purchasing tickets through the Coca-Cola system is very convenient; there's no need to wait in line, just show your ticket to the staff.

The place is very big and nice. We were able to visit all the places in the stadium, from the trophies, to the players locker room, to the stadium. We had lots of souvenir pictures and were able to buy souvenir items. Thank you.

Besides Guernica, there were many other interesting works on the 4th floor. If there was a piece I was curious about, I found it really useful to take a picture of the artwork and its description and ask the AI to explain/interpret it. For those interested in modern art, I recommend starting on the 4th floor and working your way down.

It was absolutely surreal to see the Mona Lisa in person at the Prado Museum! ✨ We also got to see the incredible Royal Spanish Armoury at the Royal Palace in Madrid, which was such a fascinating experience. Our day trip to Toledo and Segovia was organized by Amigo Tours, and a huge shoutout to our amazing tour guides, Alex and JJ! 👏 They made the entire trip so much fun and incredibly well organized. They shared so many interesting stories and historical facts, but what really made the experience special was their humor, they were constantly cracking jokes and keeping everyone entertained. 😂 It never felt like a boring history lesson; it felt like exploring these beautiful places with friends who happened to know everything about them! The whole day was packed, but it was absolutely worth it. Beautiful places, fascinating history, great organization, and fantastic guides. Definitely a memorable part of our Madrid trip!

What to know before visiting Madrid

Top experiences at a glance

Madrid’s most-booked activities are museums and historical sites, followed by guided tours, events and shows, and attraction passes — with demand rising through spring and peaking in May and October. Bookings drop off in February and again in midsummer, so the city feels busiest and most in demand during those peak months.

Best experiences for different travellers

Families often gravitate to museums and historical sites, which offer accessible, education-friendly sightseeing and tend to be the most budget-friendly options. Couples will enjoy a mix of tours and events & shows for more immersive or romantic evenings. Solo travellers and small groups find flexibility in tours and attraction passes, which suit a range of interests from classic culture to seasonal performances.

What travellers from the Philippines should book ahead

Most activities in Madrid can be picked up within a few days, but travellers from the Philippines typically book about ten days out, and the earliest planners book around four weeks ahead. Booking ahead matters most for visits in May and October, when demand is noticeably higher.

Comparing categories by price and who they suit

Museums are the easiest, most affordable entry point for most visitors, while historical sites sit at a similar, modest price level and appeal to culture-focused travellers. Tours and events & shows move into a mid-range segment that suits those seeking guided insight or evening entertainment. Attraction passes are the priciest and show the widest range of options — they work well for travellers who want flexibility and premium choices across many attractions.
