    1. Pagkuhag passport

Lahi ang international kaysa domestic flights. And if you want to be like Kryz Uy, you’ll have to get the most important accessory – your passport! 🗺If you don’t have one yet, the process might seem a little intimidating but trust us, sayun ra jud! Sa una, need ka magbook og appointment online sa Department of Foreign Affairs website. Tapos, i-submit lang ang mga gikinahanglan nga mga dokumento (ID, birth certificate, and etc.). Nya, of course, nothing in life is free so bayad pud ka sa application fee (950 Php for adults, 350 Php for minors). 🤑 Just follow the process, and you’ll travel abroad with your beautiful kayumanggi passport in no time!

    2. I-secure ang visa (if applicable)

So naa na imong passport, mao ra ba ang imong gikinahanglan to travel abroad like Kryz Uy? Well, like most things in life, depende so always check! For example, if ganahan ta mosuroy-suroy sa Malaysia, okay kaayo with just our passport! 🇲🇾Pero, if ganahan ka mobisita sa Japan or mga nasud sa Europe, dapat naa pud ka’y visa. Ang visa kay usa nga opisyal nga dokumento nga nagtugot sa usa ka tawo nga makasulod, magpabilin, o mobiyahe sa usa ka langyaw nga nasud within a certain duration and for a specific purpose. ⏳ To get this, you have to apply to the desired country’s embassy or consulate and follow their process.

    3. Planuha ang flights

Okay so, giandam na ang tanang mga dokumento ug mga kinahanglanon for your travel abroad. It’s finally time to make the first real decision that will have you feeling like Kryz Uy – destination selection! Kung ganahan ka na aesthetic ug trendy imong travel, be sure to always be checking your social media feed to find out where the next “BIG” destination is. But don’t feel pressured to go somewhere that is out of your comfort zone (or out of budget!), ang pinakaimportante kay malingaw ka! If it’s still your first time out of the country, consider somewhere closer to the Philippines like Seoul or Hong Kong.
Klook Tip: Sign up for the airline newsletters to get updates on things like special promos. 🎉If gusto ka magka-savings, paggamit og flight search engines like Skyscanner, Kayak, or Google Flights aron magka-compare ka og prices!

    4. Manage the maleta (and everything inside!)

Passport? G! Visa? Goods! Tickets? Wa’y blema! Congratulations, you’ve now made it to preparing for your totally aesthetic and fun trip to travel abroad! And with packing, the first and most important rule: pag-andam sumala sa destinasyon! Kung moadto ka sa Paris sa tingtugnaw, pagdala ug coat. If you are going to Bali, make sure to pack shorts! And remember, don’t treat your clothes like you do at home, i-roll ang imong mga sinina imbes pilohon. This saves space, so you can pack all your other stylish travel clothes! And make sure to keep everything safe with a hard-sided suitcase!

    5. Pagandam ug travel insurance

You know what’s priceless, fellow Kryzsizzies? Peace of mind! Dili jud na ma-replace with anything else and labaw pa if magbiyahe ka sa laing nasud. The last thing you want to do on a vacation is to be worrying about how things can go wrong. It’ll totally ruin your mood and your look! So if you do travel abroad, hunahunaa kanunay ang pagpalit sa insurance sa pagbiyahe. If naa kay underlying health conditions, consider getting travel insurance with medical coverage. If naa kay dalhan na mahal, travel insurance with lost luggage coverage. Pangitaa kung unsa ang labing maayo alang kanimo, so you can photos on making memories and taking instagrammable photos like Kryz Uy!

    6. Bantayi ang budget and currency exchange

Pera power! Siguruha ang budget beforehand aron wala’y problema sa kwarta later on in the trip. More often than not, you’ll be spending quite a lot when abroad. Ang pagbiyahe dili barato, but it is priceless! And when you want to travel abroad, it’s important to research currency exchange to find when it is best to convert (Php) to the currency of the country you will be traveling to. Sama sa kadaghanan sa mga butang sa kinabuhi, it's also about timing. Be like Kryz Uy, a successful businesswoman, who plans out her trips with both beauty and budget in mind.
Klook Tip: When planning your trip, it’s always great to convert the Philippine Peso (Php) into the US Dollar (USD) beforehand to help make transactions abroad less of a hassle. But remember, inig sulod sa airport, maximum 10,000 (USD) lang in cash or its equivalent! 💰

    7. Check-in sa saktong hotels

A good hotel can make or break your travel abroad! I mean, Kryz Uy would never stay anywhere that wasn’t right for her, so why should you? Kung naa kay baby like little Scottie, dapat mag-check-in ka sa usa ka hotel nga adunay playground or daycare so you and your partner can have some alone time to explore the city as a couple before the big family outing. Kon kamo magtiayon nga walay anak or just plain single, consider booking a stay somewhere closer to the city center so you can be out all day and night exploring and taking photos for the gram!

    8. Porma for the photos

What’s the point of going international if you can’t get photos??? At this point, you’ve done everything right like how to travel abroad. So, karon na ang saktong panahon sa picture-picture! If you want to bring out your beauty like Kryzzie does, choose the right time of day to take advantage of natural sunlight (sunrise and sunset are usually best because of the softer light). Bring out your inner influencer like Kryz Uy and use a tripod! Pagkuha og mga pictures gikan sa lainlaing mga anggulo. And bisan pa di kaayo ka techy, edit your photos with super user friendly apps like Adobe Lightroom (Kryz Uy’s favorite to use) to create that atmosphere you want before you post!
