    5. Petit France

BILLY COLEEN SEOUL SOUTH KOREA petit france
Located nearby Nami Island is Petit France, a tiny theme park modeled after The Little Prince. It is reminiscent of Alsace, a French province that boasts storybook-like neighborhoods and features. This attraction is romantic in every way and is a great place to visit with your special someone for a quick snack or some coffee.
This picturesque side of town is also a great place to explore on foot – you’ll be surprised to see how much is packed into this small area!

    6. Bukchon Hanok Village

BILLY COLEEN SEOUL SOUTH KOREA bukchon hanok village
Stroll through one of Seoul’s most historical quarters – the Bukchon Hanok Village! This area is one of the very few preserved neighborhoods from the Joseon Dynasty and previously housed high-ranking government officials.
Today, the uphill village is filled with artisanal boutiques, traditional tea cafes, restaurants, and other quirky attractions that are hidden within the village. As it is well preserved, the exterior of each home is identical to those around it, making it quite difficult to find your way around the area.

    7. Namsan Tower

BILLY COLEEN SEOUL SOUTH KOREA namsan tower love locks
See Seoul from a whole new perspective – from a 500m elevation at the Namsan Tower! From the second highest point in the city, you’re bound to get unparalleled views that are both stunning in the day and night! If you’ve brought along the kids, or the kid inside you, check out the Hello Kitty Island and the SSentoy Museum and Showroom located inside the tower for some extra fun!
The attraction is also known for its love locks and as you walk around the Namsan Tower area, you will notice an endless amount of colored locks. If you’re visiting with your significant other, we suggest declaring your undying love by taking part in this tradition! It’s a fun little activity that you can always look back on.
Klook Tip: If you can bring your own lock and marker – do so! The locks in the area are quite expensive.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, skip a fancy restaurant dinner and eat your way through Myeongdong! Most especially at night, the food carts roll in the streets of this shopping district and tempt you with the spicy tteokbokki or the crispy tornado potatoes! Don’t know what to get? Check out our Korean Food Guide for some suggestions!

BILLY COLEEN SEOUL SOUTH KOREA korean bbq
If there’s one thing you should do in Seoul – it’s K-BBQ. Foodie or not, this experience is unlike any other and is a staple in Korean culture. Unlike normal restaurants, you’re expected to cook your own food at a K-BBQ restaurant. Aside from the meat you get to choose, you’ll be served an unlimited amount of side dishes to complement your meals!
We suggest pairing your K-BBQ meals with a bottle of Soju to complete this Korean experience! One of our favorite Seoul K-BBQ restaurants is Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong, which is located in Myeongdong.
