What to expect
Tomita-ya is a 140-year-old traditional Japanese townhouse that was registered as a national tangible cultural property in 1999. The building has two wells, three storehouses, six gardens, three tea ceremonies, and one Noh room. You can see the structure and history of the old Kyomachiya in Japan, and experience wearing a kimono and a tea ceremony.

In the kimono experience, you will wear a real silk kimono over your clothes.

In the tea ceremony experience, you can experience how to have tea while watching the tea ceremony in the ryurei seat or the Japanese-style room on the second floor.

You can experience Japanese sweets and how to drink tea.
