What to expect
My Son Sanctuary is a renowned historical heritage complex showcasing the architecture of the ancient Cham Pa people. Located in Duy Phu commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province, this area spans approximately 2km and features over 70 temples and towers, each bearing unique historical architectural characteristics representative of various development stages of ancient Champa.
Admission tickets to visit My Son Sanctuary also grant access to My Son Museum, where artifacts illustrating the evolution of Champa culture are on display. Visitors can also enjoy the captivating Apsara dance, performed by skilled artists in sync with the rhythms of Ginang drums, Baranung drums, and Saranai trumpets.
Furthermore, the My Son Sanctuary site hosts "The My Son Legendary Night," an outdoor artistic performance aimed at reviving the essence of Cham culture. The show involves over 200 artists and actors who communicate messages to the audience through various artistic forms. This includes dance performances complemented by lighting and stage effects, creating a truly immersive and memorable experience.
