What to expect

Explore the ancient art of Chinese shadow puppetry in this 1.5 hours hands-on workshop. Once a popular form of storytelling and entertainment in early Singapore, shadow puppets conveyed folklore, historical tales, and moral lessons during festivals and community events

Participants will learn about its cultural heritage and significance while designing, cutting, and assembling their own paper puppets. They will also practice simple animated storytelling, connecting to the visual, musical, and narrative traditions of this craft
