  • The project team spent six months consulting authoritative classics such as the "New Book of Tang," and also visited the Henan Museum many times, referencing Tang Dynasty cultural relics to replicate costumes and props.
  • The Tang Emperor's crown is strictly made according to the "Son of Heaven's Twelve Streamers" standard, and the spacing and length of each string of white jade beads match the museum's replica.
  • The musical instruments used by the musicians, such as the konghou and transverse flute, are restored musical instruments based on the shape of the Dunhuang murals, and the timbre is in line with the characteristics of the ancient music of the Tang Dynasty.
  • The performance takes "Tang Emperor's Banquet" as the main line, connecting classic scenes such as the "Ni Shang Yu Yi Dance" and Li Bai's drunken poetry, and is guided by historians throughout the process to ensure that the etiquette and plot conform to historical facts.

What to expect

Immersive Theater Experience: Meticulously designed stage settings and costumes authentically recreate the scene of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, allowing visitors to feel as if they are in the Tang Dynasty imperial court. Professional actors passionately interpret the wonderful stories of famous ministers and Li Bai and other historical figures of the Tang Dynasty through various art forms such as dance, poetry, and music, showcasing the cultural charm of the Tang Dynasty.

Featured Dining Experience: The dishes are rich and unique, and each dish has its historical allusion. For example, King Soup is said to have been drunk by Li Shimin when he was young and gradually became stronger. Royal Fried Rice is a delicacy discovered and loved by Wu Zetian on his way to consecration.

Cultural Interactive Session: Li Bai, transformed by actors, will walk off the stage and randomly invite tourists to answer Tang poems. The difficulty of the poems is divided into three levels: basic, advanced, and challenging, which are suitable for tourists of different ages and cultural levels. Those who answer correctly can get exquisite gifts such as Tang-style bookmarks and ancient-style sachets.
