What to expect
In traditional Peranakan homes, a Nyonya’s beadwork was more than decoration—it reflected her patience, skill, and suitability as a wife. This experience begins with a Peranakan cultural talk by a Nyonya Master Beader, followed by a deep dive hands-on guided session with all materials provided. Midway, participants dress in an elegant sarong kebaya and take photos in the museum and by the colourful Koon Seng shophouses. The session includes a break with traditional Nyonya kuehs and tea, offering a taste of Peranakan culture
