Good to know

  • Accommodation facilities along the grassland route are limited. Please do not measure them against urban standards and respect local ethnic customs.
  • The departure time is relatively early. The tour guide will notify you of the next day's meeting point and departure time by phone or SMS between 18:00-21:00 the night before. Please keep your communication channels open and arrive at the meeting point on time. If you are staying in a hotel, please notify the hotel in advance to provide you with a packed lunch as breakfast, and pick it up at the front desk in the morning. Local conditions are relatively difficult, with few vegetables and the taste is not very good, it is recommended that guests bring their own dry food or snacks.
  • Green environmental protection is advocated along the route, and hotels do not provide disposable toiletries. Please bring your own.
  • The journey from Chengdu to Ruoergai is long, and most of it is mountain road. If you are prone to motion sickness, please be sure to bring motion sickness medicine. There are many vehicles along the way, which may cause traffic jams, resulting in late dining times or late return times to Chengdu. Thank you for your understanding.
  • The local area is a plateau area. If you want to prevent altitude sickness, please prepare anti-altitude sickness medicines yourself before departure. There will also be altitude sickness service stations selling oxygen water along the way. Please choose carefully according to your own situation. Conditions in Aba Prefecture are limited, and there are very few free public restrooms along the way. Toilets cost 1 yuan/person/time. Please understand.
  • There is no tour guide to accompany you during free activities. Please remember the unified meeting time and place, arrive on time, and be aware that we will not wait for latecomers.
  • There are also optional horseback riding activities during the day's itinerary. Please pay attention to safety when riding. Horseback riding is not covered by insurance companies.
  • The local altitude is 3,500 meters. Tourists must remember not to engage in strenuous exercise, so as not to cause severe altitude sickness.
  • There are wild animals along the way, please do not throw any items out of the window.
  • The grassland is a paradise for the nomadic Ando Tibetan people. Most customs are different from those of the Han people. On the grassland, follow the tour guide's arrangements, try to avoid quarrels with local people, respect their customs, and do not talk about sensitive issues such as politics with local people. If you bargain for something, you must buy it. If you don't want to buy it, don't bargain.
  • Bonfire parties are complimentary items. If the scenic spot cannot provide them due to weather or other reasons, our company will not be liable and will not provide refunds.
  • The return time to Chengdu is approximately 19:00 in the afternoon. Due to possible traffic jams on the plateau section, please do not book plane or train tickets for the same day to avoid unnecessary losses due to traffic jams.
  • There will be tourist souvenirs and local specialty products for sale along the way and in restaurants and hotels. The guide may recommend and explain them to tourists. If you are interested, please purchase carefully according to your needs and remember to ask for an invoice. There are small vendors and supermarkets along the way. Please do not trust them lightly to avoid unnecessary consumption.

  • About accommodation: The default arrangement is a hotel twin room, one room for two adults. This itinerary cannot be shared. If you are traveling as an odd number of adults, please be sure to purchase one "single room supplement"; a single room will be arranged for you if you travel alone; if you travel as three adults, purchase an additional "single room supplement", so that two rooms will be arranged for you.
