Sanya Dinosaur Museum

Sanya Dinosaur Museum is the southernmost dinosaur museum in China. It houses more than 500 fossil specimens of dinosaurs, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, etc., and introduces fossil specimens of the "Top Ten Discoveries" with international influence. The museum has a total of 6 exhibition hall units and an outdoor experience area, with a total of 13 theme exhibition areas, mainly the archaeological excavation site reproduction area, the Jurassic ring curtain immersive experience hall, the dinosaur fossil restoration viewing area, the dinosaur ecosystem, and the Youth Dinosaur Research Academy. The museum space has a strong sense of the times, and it is combined with technology and dynamic interaction to create an immersive experience. Based on specimens and authoritative popular science knowledge, the domestic authoritative team of paleontologists takes telling the story of Chinese dinosaurs as the main line, creating situational products that can be participated in and experienced, and experiencing the interaction between dinosaurs and humans across time and space. The outdoor classroom space covers the outdoor area of Sanya mangroves. It is a new type of museum that integrates popular science education, research and practice, and interactive experience.
