No. 323 Fuxing Middle Road

“Seven Days of Exquisiteness: Digital Exhibition of Niya Ruins in Xinjiang” is the world’s first digital exhibition focusing on the Niya Ruins, one of the greatest discoveries of Chinese archaeology in the 20th century. The exhibition displays more than 100 key cultural relics, among which the national treasure “Five Stars Rising from the East, Prospering China” brocade arm guard (replica) is exhibited in Shanghai for the first time. The Niya Ruins is a world-famous oasis city-state settlement site in the Han and Jin Dynasties on the southern edge of the Taklimakan Desert in Xinjiang, China. Due to its legendary discovery, mysterious environmental endowment, gorgeous sand-buried treasures, and rich historical and cultural heritage, it has long been the focus of attention in history, archaeology, geography, literature, art, and a wide range of social circles.
