Beautiful hotel! The staff were super helpful and the facilities were perfect. The room was perfect and large. Very well maintained and clean. Personally I would have preferred a little amenities kit in the bathroom and I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast. With a buffet I expected more items on the menu and some of the pastry and hot food tasted quite stale which was disappointing considering the price. Overall, lovely hotel.

Very kind, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. There is no parking on site or even that close, but the staff helped us unload and load our luggage in the little alley and the car park was about a 5 minute walk -- not too bad. The spa had a few issues with scheduling for us, but they resolved the issues. Overall a very lovely hotel that I highly recommend! Look forward to returning!

Excellent service great breakfast lunch and evening dinner at the restaurant Superb room and great staff at the hotel.

From the moment I was greeted by front of house staff at check in on Sunday until today when I sadly had to leave and come home 😊, I couldn’t fault any member of staff. Everyone was professional yet friendly, nothing too much trouble. I arrived before check in time and they were happy to look after my suitcase so that I didn’t have to drag it through Cardiff with me then took it straight to my room so it was there when I returned. The room I had was spotless as usual, with lovely toiletries, robe, etc. and I even had a room with a view this time of The stadium and tip of the Castle in the distance. The hotel itself is a beautiful building and feels special. This time I only had breakfast food wise while there and was good quality, and a great selection. I also had a wonderful massage at the spa and would highly recommend my spa therapist Moitshepi who was gently spoken, friendly and performed a brilliant, relaxing full body massage. I basically didn’t want to leave! Thank you everyone at The Parkgate Spa, can’t wait to come back!

THE HOTEL WAS EXELLENT STAFF WERE BRILLIANT NOTHING WAS TO MUCH TROUBLE FOODVWAS FIRST CLASS BAR STAYED OPEN UNTIL LATE EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL FROM THE CLEANERS UPTO MANAGEMENT ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND SPOTLESS WE HAVE STAYED THERE ON TWO OCCASIONS BEFORE AND WOULD DEFINATLY STAY AGAIN
