Solo stay

The staff has been amazing! Muneeb, Nandipa and Michael - thank you so much! A special thank you to Muneeb who would wait with me for my Ubers by the road in early mornings, checking car registration numbers, making sure I got on safely. You have shown me the true spirit, kindness and warmth of Capetonians!

Stayed with partner

Spacious & clean room in a beautifully restored building. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast selection was adequate. Dined in the restaurant for dinner which was excellent. Only negative is the location, a bit far away from V&A waterfront & mall out the front of hotel felt a little unsafe at times.

Solo stay

They did not inform at all of their renovation when booking the hotel. Staff is nice, but also not a great area, really noisy, and rooms are really cold at night. Heating system is not working.

I stayed down the street for a bit during this trip. I was eager for a clean, comfortable room to end my stay. I needed a good night's rest before I took my flight home to the US. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast and dinner options were wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. My room was very clean with a great shower and a wonderful climate control system. I also enjoyed the wine options at the bar. The porters and desk staff were so helpful!
