First time staying in a hostel. Beautiful and clean room. Very small. Shared bathroom was beautiful and clean, however had an odor in the showers closest to the toilets but there were others to use so it was fine.

Loved all the thoughtful care given to leaving luggage before checkin and after checkout. The communal bathroom was spotless. The location was unmatched (bonus concert in St. Giles right across the street). Fun work space. Funky but very clean and comfortable “cell” with towels and flip flops. Breakfast was wonderful! It was a perfect place for us. Would return in a heartbeat!

This place is awesome! We stayed in the family room for four and it was comfortable, clean and spacious. Free pre-check in and post-check out luggage storage onsite. Great location right in the middle of the Royal Mile action, yet providing a quiet night’s rest. In room A/C a definite plus.

Solo stay

This was probably as good of an experience as one can expect in a hostel. The property was well maintained, including clean showers, and comfortable beds. There weee lots of amenities, including a coworking space and library. And we received 15% off at the bar and restaurant downstairs. The staff were welcoming and helpful. When I messed up my locker, the front desk attendant, Clancy, was happy to come up to the third floor to unlock it for me, for which I was grateful. It is also in a central location. I recommend it if you need a budget friendly option while in Edinburgh.
