Good basic hotel. It is a basic no frills hotel. Downsides - no hand towels, so you use either the shower floor towel or the large shower towel. The soap dispenser for the sink is at least 5 feet up the shower wall. The night table is tiny - maybe 10" x 6". There is no Kleenex, but you could use toilet paper. It is a small room - no room for suitcases. The shower door doubles as a bathroom door. You get 1 key - I am guessing a second one would cost you. The key also turns on the room power. Extras - there is a coffee machine in the lobby - 3 Euros, dispences into a smaller paper cup, with no lids available. So I got 2 - had to open the security door to the elevator lobby with the access key in my mouth while trying not to spill the hot coffee, and then somehow open the unlocked door. My wife waited in the room with no power while I had the key. Not a big deal, but probably funny to watch. Just be prepared.

You can’t complain for the price it’s clean & has everything you need it to have, the only negative I could say is the room size as it is quite smaller but again you cannot complain and would deffo recommend! Also The lovely lady at the reception from DR, my apologies as I forgot your name but you was so helpful, accommodating, informative and just overall lovely & sweet! You made me happy and my holiday & experience so much better! Thank you so much! Great location also! Would definitely come back!

The hotel is in a good location, close to everything. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable. I asked for a wheelchair accessible room and I can say that the bathroom is really big, it has a roll in shower, the only thing a little difficult was to regulate the temperature of the water but other than that everything was great, the room is a little small but there was enough space for my wheelchair which was my main worry. We had a nice view from our window, it would be nice if there was a window that would open to get some ventilation but it was OK. One suggestion would be to have more places to put stuff, like a table or something. Will definitely stay there again though. We loved Zaandam.

Great stay and great location next to train station.

Location

Perfect stay lovely little town. Easy access to the airport and the central station. Only thing was wish they had a kettle in the rooms.

Chipped furniture. Dingy hallway needing a refresh. Coffee or tea only avaliable at a cost in lobby. Elevator broke down for a number of hours during supper hour. Doors locked to hallways, so unable to use stairs.No compensation offered.

Comfy bed, decent air conditioning, room very clean , however so basic that not even a paper cup at the sink. Also did not advertise the extortionate fee for a dog. Hotel was above a shopping centre in a high rise block, nowhere nearby for a meal unless you wanted fast food

Great price, location, and comfortable as well

Staff were friendly. The room was basic but comfortable. It is within two minutes walking distance from zaandam station, which has regular trains into the centre (€3.50) and direct to the airport (€7) im sure there are passes you can buy that are would make this cheaper but I was fine with the price. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and would again on my next trip to the Netherlands:)
