Stayed with kids

Disrupted twice Zero cooperation or empathy with staff when we called for help. Basically we were told to figure it out yourself! We lost more than $6000 , took over 48 hours , The travel disruption insurance is a scam. We have put over 26 hours into talking to staff, insurers etc and the sheer documentation is designed to deter any normal person to bother making a claim. We are confident that this is a huge profit mechanism for CIBC and Expedia! We will never use Expedia again and will cut up our CIBC Aventura Card

Solo stay

Good hotel - good location but if you have a port facing room be prepared for noisy nights. My stay was ridiculously expensive and didn't even include breakfast. The hotel & staff were fine - just overpriced and noisy.

The room (junior suite) had an incredible view. The bathroom was nice and big and the bed was firm and comfortable. The furnishings are a little tired but funky and fun. Front desk staff were super helpful.

The location of the hotel is perfect, as are then views. The room was spacious and comfortable with good amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The second room in our suite had no natural light and the lighting was dim - this didn’t matter too much for us as we only used it for cases and clothes but it would be a problem if you were sleeping there. Other than that, everything was good and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there. Compliments to the staff.

Great location by the marina in Marseille. Overall the hotel is clean but needs an interior facelift due to some wear and tear. The staff is generally average and a bit inflexible typical of French service culture. Parking is three blocks away so an inconvenience. The bedding was adequate at best yet the bathroom was plush with deep hot water tub.
