GreatStayed with family · For friends and family
We stayed here for 5nights. The location is in between the the main city and Disneyland that's why we booked here. The val de fontenay train station is just beside the hotel and there is the auchan mall beside. The hotel location was good, however maybe because it is Paris?that the surrounding areas like the sidewalk/alleys were not maintained and there's some homeless people around/behind the mall and hotel. There's bldgs beside the hotel that looks nice but on the ground it's just the unkempt and sketchy passersby that made it a bit scary walking at night. The climate controlled A/C which uses Eberle KLR switch is not very helpful or maybe A/C in Paris are made that way. We have to keep the windows open otherwise it gets hot even on a 20°C weather. The airconditioning needs some revamp/modernization. The whole room has 4lampshades with warm yellow lighting and no main light in ceiling. So the room is bit dark. So for make-ups I use the toilet because there's more light in the toilet with bright white lights. There's blow dryer, phone, tv, safe box, complimentary tea&coffee and a kettle. No microwave or mini ref nor free toothpaste/toothbrush. There's a very good hair and body soap that smells nice. There's bath tub and shower. Toilet is fairly clean, nice and bright. The down point of this hotel is the surroundings, the poorly lit room.the staff often just comes inside without knocking and that's really weird and off.we didn't put the signage to clean but they just come in

Bathrooms smell like mildew ventalation doesnt work in most of rooms. So if you shower it makes mildew smell worse. Mattresses are hard as rock and very stained up. Room 701 matress looks blood stained. Hotel right next to train tracks and city bus depot. Shopping mall 5 min walk away.

Brian was very helpful and immediately assisted us when needed. The property was clean, very close to subway leading to city in one direction and Disney in the other. There is a mall around the corner that has fast food open late. 1st time staying at a Mercure hotel and will consider staying with them in the future.

Staff were nice. Location is convenient to metro but the area isn’t the best. Room was in need of some maintenance and the beds were not very comfortable. AC wasn’t great in the room either. Also not much in the immediate area. It worked okay for us overall…

GreatStayed with partner
We had to wait for about 20 min to check-in, because there was only one person at the desk. Same thing at the check-out.

The receptionist on our first night was extremely helpful, welcoming and professional. The only downside was the fact they the restaurant was closed for the weekend. Other than that we had a great stay and would highly recommend staying here to anyone with a family or on business. The water dispenser was a real bonus

The hotel is well positioned close to the Rer A and E train line, which meant a direct 30 minute journey to Disney and in the opposite direction a 20 minute direct train line to central Paris. Nearby shops, restaurants just metres away all made staying there worthwhile. Very helpful staff and clean rooms. Filtered water machine in main corridor big bonus. My only bitter sweet point was that check in is really late, 3pm ! And as I had young children I opted to access room early at 11.30am at a cost of 50 Euros……. Stung a bit , especially as the hotel was barely occupied, and of course all rooms were ready. I did email them a week earlier seeking an early check in but never got a reply.
