Stayed here many times before but it was a Hilton Hotel then. The Queen of Sheba is meant to be a 5 star hotel and an international hotel, yet most of the staff didnt speak english so getting your eggs cooked how you liked was a mission. The receptionist told me she couldnt give me details of another guest even though I didnt ask anything about another guest. It took two more tries and an intervention of another member of staff to get the help I needed. When we arrive the room was not made up, no sheets or pillows for the couch bed or the extra put up beds for a family of 5. The mattress of the put up bed, when it eventually arrived, was in 2 halves which was uncomfortable to sleep on and we had to ask for it to be replaced. When we rang for room service or reception or housekeeping to get help all we got was either ringing and ringing with no answer or when it was answered the person at the other end said "... dont speak anglise ..." and then put us back into a ringing queue. In the end we had to go down to reception to get the help we needed. Whilst we were there, there was two fights in the pool. Really scary stuff for young children to witness. One involved a lifeguard and a guest punching each other and the other involved a fight between guests then the lifeguard, hotel security and then the police. For the money being spent to stay in one of the top 5 star hotels in Eilat, it was disappointing and upsetting. We expected more.

Hotel from the outside and the lobby are beautiful and very well maintained. We paid a lot of money for a Junior Suite and the condition was terrible. There were huge stains and giant burn marks and holes all over the carpet. It felt very dirty. The rooms are in desperate need of updating.

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Queen of Shiba Hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a stunning view of the surroundings. The hotel's amenities, were top-notch and perfectly maintained. But what really made my stay special was the attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel. From the delicious breakfast buffet to the friendly and helpful concierge service, I felt like I was treated like royalty. If you're looking for a relaxing and indulgent getaway in Eilat, look no further than the Queen of Shiba Hotel. I can't wait to return!"

Good

For business

This hotel and listing advertise a lounge but they shut it down in early October 2023. Don't book the room with lounge and pay the extra fee; there is no refund for this and no upgrade or anything like that. Also, the gym closed in early October and is not scheduled to reopen any time soon.

Me and my wife had a very bad experience in this hotel. The hotel had parties all night and we did not get any sleep. I told the staff about 20 times and they just didn’t care. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms were beautiful and views were great. I wish Expedia had provided options for the french balcony rooms. Bathrooms were clean and the cleaning services offered were well timed and regular throughout my visit. I would definitely return during another visit.
