Fantastic

Solo stay

Full Austrian breakfast buffet is there for 25 euros if you want it, or a quick coffee and croissant version for 8...or skip it. Check for live music at brunch on weekends. Choice is yours. Nespresso and tea in the room is a nice touch. It's a boutique hotel so has little touches like themes and art on floors, big garden. Complementary bicycle came in handy for riding over to Prater, and it had a basket for picking up something from TK maxx afterwards. Tram 44 is right outside the front door to whisk you over to Schottentor, runs every 10 mins or so. Or walk a few minutes up to Alser strasse to get on the Ubahn. Super friendly staff. Cons? Well, the AfD and Marine lepen might not like it so much, but hey it's cosmopolitan Wien.

Good

Stayed with kids

Our coffee machine didn’t work, staff hardly greeted us, had a dispute over a birthday booking, weren’t very helpful but resolved in the end. English language barrier? The room was nice and comfy but overall the stay could’ve been better

Great

Solo stay

Well-maintained hotel with a lot of charm and character, which was refreshing compared to the usual chain hotels. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the checkout experience left a disappointing impression. When I mentioned that there had been no hairdryer in the room, the receptionist said he would inform housekeeping, but then jokingly wondered whether he should check my luggage. It was probably intended as humor, but it did not feel appropriate toward a guest who had to check out in the morning with wet hair due to the missing amenity.

Fantastic

Stayed with partner

Had an enjoyable 3-night stay at the hotel and had a nice room upgrade. Rooms have everything that you require but still run on a door key system, which you can hand into reception when not in the hotel. The hotel is not central, but there is a tram stop outside the property, and there are 2 U stops nearby. Uber is easy to book and had no problems getting around the city from the hotel. The breakfast is very good with plenty of variety for everyone. Staff are very helpful and would recommend the hotel if you do not want to pay city centre prices.

Good

Stayed with family · For friends and family

Positive: Nice decoration of the hotel and rooms Good breakfast (even musicians during the meal) Bed and bedding very comfortable Bathroom is well designed Negative: Mix of kind and unkind staff making the stay stressfull Bins not emptied and toilet rolls not refilled Two very big inconveniences: no iron available (charging for laundry service and possible only with 24h notice = not for business travellers) + No kettle in the room (some coffee/tea machine in the room doing dark water).

The hotel looks absolutely beautiful inside and out, however it is incredibly noisy. I could hear everything going on in the next rooms and hallways, and every siren in the street. This would not normally bother me except they advertise sound proof rooms! They also advertise laundry facilities but there is only an expensive wash service where it costs more to have socks washed than to buy more.
