Absolutely perfect place to stay in the summer! Great location, away from the crowds. Beautiful views and nice amenities. Breakfast was delicious!

Calm and peaceful

Ah, the Michelin-recognized hotel — the Four Seasons for the working class. Pay Best Western prices and you can tell everyone you stayed somewhere Michelin acknowledged. Unfortunately, you also get what you pay for. Despite being visibly run down and badly in need of renovation, this property somehow received Michelin recognition in 2025, which is honestly surprising. The problems started with the booking. Be very careful with their “lakeview” rooms. The listing makes it seem like you are paying extra for a special view, but in reality the front of the building is blocked by a road, dense trees, and overgrown vegetation. Unless you are lucky enough to be on the third floor, you may end up paying a premium for essentially no meaningful lake view. When we raised this with the manager, it was clear they already knew about the issue. I doubt we were the first guests to point it out. Yet no real effort was made to move us to a better room, issue a partial refund, or offer even a small property credit. We left feeling misled. Sometimes recognition can make a place complacent, and that seems to be what happened here. The service did not match the reputation, and the property desperately needs renovation and better transparency in how it sells its rooms. Their pool area is also plainly gross, really dirty, especially their sauna hasn't been sanitized in years and is grimy.

Being the only lake front property allowed us to have a romantic get away in God's country without having to share it with bus loads of tourists. The spa offered us a chance to have a massage onsite that enhanced our experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Nita Lake Lodge. The location was perfect – peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village, yet the complimentary shuttle service made getting into town quick and easy. One of the highlights was the beautiful Nita Lake right outside the hotel, so we had beautiful lake view from our room. Having access to the private dock and the complimentary paddleboards and canoes was fantastic, and we had great fun out on the water. We were even lucky enough to spot an eagle and several ducks on the lake. The hotel itself is lovely, with beautiful décor and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The spa facilities were a little basic compared to the rest of the hotel, but still pleasant. Breakfast was good, and the portions were generous! Overall, a fantastic stay in a beautiful setting, and we would happily return.

Perfection. Michelin key well deserved. The staff is so lovely it makes the stay that much more amazing. The property is amazing and the food is incredible.

Beautiful property. But front desk staff could do with better communication and a friendlier attitude.
