I want to give this 4.5. good location. Surprisingly quiet. Rooms are comfortable without being cramped. Clean and functional. Enjoyed the gym as well, plus in dire guest laundry available. Only minor remarks: water runs hot even when turned to cold. Needed a few minutes before it was cold. Wait times for elevators can be a challenge at peak times, especially when service elevator being used

My stay at this DoubleTree Hotel was absolutely amazing!!! The staff and the hotel were wonderful and very friendly, nice, helpful and welcoming!!! I would absolutely highly recommend this DoubleTree Hotel. And the chocolate chip cookies were delicious as always!!! My room was wonderful and the view was amazing!!!

No parking! It sucked for this hotel , had to pay $200 for 3 days at a 2nd party parking garage which is ridiculous and outrageous!

Our stay was mostly fine overall. This is an extremely busy property, and the lobby was consistently crowded. The biggest frustration was the elevators. They were very difficult to get, so because we were on the fifth floor, we ended up taking the stairs almost every time we went up or down. The hallways on the guest room floors are also very narrow, and noise carries easily. We could hear conversations in the hallway at all hours of the night. On the positive side, the location is excellent, and our room was surprisingly spacious, which made for a workable stay.

Perfect location! Great restaurants nearby, close to many tourist attractions in financial district and steps away from the subway stations. The rooms were comfortable and with ample space for a couple. City views from the 42nd floor were also spectacular. I recommend!
