Clean room. Plumbing was sketchy but basically functional. Good room size. Restaurant was average and too expensive.

It should be mentioned in my openion that the road is cut at this area ddue to construction issues. Google maps give u that there is a route but in fact there isnt.

Superficially this is a grand hotel … but in reality the quality isn’t all that good . The reception staff are not terribly friendly or welcoming or helpful. We did find one very good waiter in the restaurant but in the 5 days we spent there us was the only one.

The staff were really helpful and polite and our rooms were very nice. The hotel had everything we needed for our time in Egypt.

Not what we were expecting from its descriptions. We booked a "Superior Room Pyramids View" room which turned out to be a small box with twin beds and a peek at the pyramids in the distance so we asked for a different room. Hotel had some nice parts, but what's the point of having a nice bar area when it's nigh on impossible to get anyone to serve in there. Breakfast was fine with good options. Staff irritatingly came and banged on our taxi as we were leaving for the airport at 5am saying we hadn't paid for our room (which we had prepaid at time of booking) and then proceeded to wander off when we go out of the car back into reception. Pizza in the Italian restaurant was revolting and worse than frozen. We weren't told that there was a buffet option in one of the restaurants even though we were there for three nights. The nightclub it claims is not used. The Pyramids are way further away than the 10 minutes it claims. I wish we had booked in Cairo itself and took a taxi into Giza for the Pyramids and the G.E.M museum (which is superb).
