Good location and clean

I stayed solo here during my city trip in Amsterdam. It is close to the city center by metro where I can get to the center in 15 mins. The hotel is trying to be sustainable by implementing self check in. Which I get the concept however there’s a host stand there she checked my passport first and asked me to proceed with self check in. It seemed redundant. It would actually save more time to just direct me to the iPad directly once I arrive vs spending the extra time with the host if we’re trying to be efficient. You make your own key with the iPad. The elevator is very fast. The lobby bar I had good drink- ruby’s coral something it was lovely. I did wish there’s a coffee machine in the room.

Will definitely come back to this specific hotel next time.

There's no central AC

It was perfect and exceeded our expectations ! The staff is super friendly and would definitely go back.

Well located; short ride from Schiphol and close to a metro station for easy access to the city centre. Room was spotless, air con worked well and comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful though didn’t need to speak to them much as self check in / out was incredibly easy.

**Good Stay with Friendly Service** Stayed for one night in early July and had a good overall experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, although check-in is largely self-service using tablets in the reception area, with the concierge available to assist if needed. The room was compact but clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for a short stay. The only downside was the air conditioning. The hotel promotes an eco-friendly climate control system, but it didn't seem particularly effective. It wasn't a major issue during my stay, but it could become uncomfortable during hotter weather. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection and was an enjoyable start to the day. The hotel is also a little further from Amsterdam's city centre than I expected. It's certainly walkable if you enjoy a decent stroll, but if you're planning to spend most of your time in the heart of the city, you may prefer to use public transport or choose accommodation closer to the centre. Overall, a good hotel with friendly service that seems particularly well suited to younger travellers and city breaks. I'd happily stay here again for a short visit.

We recently stayed at Ruby Emma Hotel and found it to be a modern hotel in an excellent location. Being just a short walk from the railway station made traveling into central Amsterdam quick and convenient. The room featured impressive technology, with lighting, temperature, blinds and the external façade all controlled via an iPad, which worked well and kept the room cool during the hot weather. Good quality toiletries and a powerful hairdryer were provided, and housekeeping was generally good. Breakfast was fresh and of good quality, but be aware that it is entirely continental, with no hot food options. Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay were disappointing. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, which made us feel far from welcome. The beds were extremely firm, and the pillows offered virtually no support, making for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. The furniture in our room was showing signs of wear, and the windows had greasy marks on arrival that were never cleaned. The hotel’s atmosphere also seemed to be geared more towards younger travellers, which may not suit everyone. Overall, Ruby Emma has a lot of potential thanks to its location and modern facilities, but improvements to customer service, room maintenance and bed comfort would significantly enhance the guest experience.
