We arrived in the evening and got a really bad room, with paint peeling in areas, a bathroom not much bigger than on an airplane, and our window looked straight into another close by building with a view into somebody’s bathroom and loud TV at 3 AM. Very substandard accommodation and we were able to switch the next day, but the staff was a little bit put off by the request and there was a lot of miscommunication between the staff members. The new room was nice, although the air conditioning was super loud and not very strong. My other complaint was that the breakfast was only so so, and with the coffee being very weak and watery, croissants stale, and the staff of 1-2 people hidden in an area where they could not see much of the room and mostly talking to each other or scrolling on the phone. I had to ask them to refill the coffee one day and the next day I had to ask them to clear the tables as there were no clean tables in the entire breakfast area. I think the management needs pay more attention to this, because certainly they could be refilling coffee and maybe making a better breakfast. On the plus side, the cleaning staff was very nice, as well as most of the front desk people.

The staff was amazing! Everyone I spoke with was friendly and went out of their way to help. So refreshing to see and entire staff so connected. Definitely will stay here again!!!

Great boutique hotel with walkability! Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Walls are not very soundproof, but expected in an older building. Breakfast was basic, but included. Would stay again!

Lack of empathy and guest services in my opinion...when called to ask for something, it would be courteous to offer to bring it to room, rather than saying 'come and get it' Otherwise very nice as usual...

The location is excellent. It is an old building which for me exudes charm. Be aware of the stairs because of its age.

Clean room and staff were very friendly. Would stay again.
