GoodSolo stay
The property is very old and in need of refurbishing. Cleaning is not very thorough as it could be, and I had hair and dirt behind the bathroom door when I closed it. Overall we just needed some upgrades and tlc.

STAFF:
Hit or miss. Some staff were amazing, some were just okay.
The lady who works breakfast was extremely diligent and always on the move!
BREAKFAST:
7am - 10am. Good, but the room fills up fast. There’s only about 15 tables for a hotel with over 100 rooms. Only one Waffle Maker. Croissant’s and Pain au chocolat were a fun surprise!
ROOM:
Small but clean. Exactly what I needed for a 3 night stay. No dresser, but was able to put my luggage in the closet. No couch. 4 plugs to use. All ports are USB. Bedroom is rather dark, windows provide minimal light. TV was functional but had no channel list, and CC kept resetting itself.
OTHER:
Odd smell that you get blind to quickly. Great location for a low price (but don’t expect a good window view).
1 Tiny elevator (which is hard to get down at checkout, good luck if you’re disabled).

GreatStayed with family · For friends and family
Great location for cruise port, staff were helpful, room was good size ( suite) had a separate living room/ bedroom. Daughter and BF slept on sofa bed which was comfy enough for the night. Breakfast room is small, but we actually enjoyed the breakfast ( waffles/ muffins/ bagels/ Crossents/ yogurt) maintenance was a bit rough... toilet was loose, bathroom light didn't seem to want to work. But for 1 night pre and post cruise, it was fab

Below averageSolo stay
When I booked this hotel, it looked somewhat different in the pictures. The room was small and the view that I had, was facing a brick wall. The AC unit in the room was the loudest most annoying part about the stay. It stayed on all night which is a plus, I guess; however, it would build up to being super loud and then the noise would die down. When I say it was super loud, it sounded like a truck engine loud. I got a total of three hours of sleep due to that. Turn it off sure, it was 80 degrees that day. No win here.
Second piece, there was a window in the bathroom that I tried to open because it smelled of mold in there. When I opened it, there was no screen and a ton of pigeons sitting there. Oh and let's not forget about the few ants I saw crawling on the floor. If this was more than 1 night, I would've cancelled.

Is there breakfast was lacking no selection only toast and boiled eggs no ketchup. How can they have eggs with no ketchup, which is a cheap amenity? There was hair on the bathtub in the bathroom. There was a coffee maker, but how do you drink coffee with a soft paper cup? I can’t imagine cups being that expensive. It was one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in the air conditioning when it cut in would freeze you with the blast of the blower the air-conditioning unit was held up by wood to the floor, a person would think paying that much for a room which we paid about $500 per night. You would get a first class room we are from Northern Alberta and had stayed in many hotels. This is by far the worst one it should have been the cheapest, but it was the most expensive. We will never stay at a Days Inn again I know we will never hear from you, but I had to vent about my stay. I hope you read this and take heed.
