Good

Solo stay

I am rating the Imperial Hotel as a 3-star instead of a 1-star, solely because the staff was so helpful & friendly and breakfast was delicious. Otherwise, this property was unremarkable. While my room and bedding were comfortable, the bathroom was a potential safety hazards with a too-short glass door that prevented no water from getting onto the floor and a lack of any traction on the bottom of the tub, not to mention the pitiful water pressure from the shower head. Two of the small boxes of toiletries (the shower cap and vanity set of cotton pads & Q-tips) were empty and had not been checked or replaced between the last guests and my stay. The hotel is in a great location, only a 5-minute walk from Copenhagen Central and 10–15 minutes from incredibly restaurants and world-class museums. But given the price for one night, I would not stay here again.

We had a layover in Copenhagen so we stayed at the Imperial. The room was clean and beds were ready for all three of us staying in the room. The hotel is centrally located to the historic areas. Would definitely stay again.

Very good location. Terrible shower. Breakfast wasn't worth the cost. We chose b/c it had AC but it only worked in one of our rooms.

Fantastic

Solo stay

Location was great and across the street from a train station. Very short walk to the city hall or the central station. Very easy to get around. The staff when I checked in were excellent. Super friendly and helpful. I did the breakfast one morning and it was quiet extensive. Great if you're looking for a big meal with lots of options. Room was basic and what I'd expect. Room was clean, no issues.

An excellent modern hotel close to central Copenhagen station. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices were very good, staff were friendly and competent. Only one issue is room cleaning, it’s only done on demand and we had to ask twice before it was finally done in the late afternoon. Otherwise highly recommended!

As you walk into the hotel it feels fresh and welcoming. The reception staff greeted us with a smile, and we instantly felt at ease. Check-in was simple. The hotel and the room appeared clean and well-maintained. There is a focus on the environment as well which I appreciate. The room was cleaned when asked for. The room was a nice size and the bathroom a good size. The only criticism was that the shower screen was not very big and you would find the bathroom floor getting quite wet. Also, we stayed during a heatwave and the air conditioning was not effective. All in all, though we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the hotel as a place to stay in Copenhagen.
