Our flight arrived later than expected, and we didn’t make it until 1am or so, and we were still greeted kindly! So thankful for a warm welcome during a late night. We only stayed one night, but there was options for transfers, pickups, and other package addons which made me feel it would be a good option if we would not have had a rental car and wanted to go other places. We were also given a map in the morning which helped us to do a walking tour of Madaba. I think this is great as it feels authentically Muslim, and safe. In reality, this is a tourist area, but you still get a lot of ethnic flavor. And the location cannot be beat. All sites very close. So A+ on location. Just have in mind that it is a basic place to stay, and as long as you have those expectations, I think you will be happy. Also, you may want earplugs in this country if you have trouble sleeping, Muslim call for prayer started at 5:39am. Plus dogs and cats in the street. Not specific to this location, all of Jordan. A great breakfast too. Great view of the city from the roof. Best part of our stay, and best part of this country is the wonderful and overwhelming hospitality, “Welcome to Jordan!” The best.

Simple hotel with the main amenities just make sure you bring all your bathroom supplies like soap, shampoo etc. Room is cozy and had a beautiful view of St. George's Church. The upstairs balcony has a beautiful view of the City and the breakfast is delicious. Had a wonderful time here.

Simon (host) was amazing, accommodating and very hospitable. The location was perfect for tourists, fairly safe and very basic. No amenities, breakfast extremely limited, shower was very small, a very barebones hotel.

So, the best part of this hotel was the location. Its literally right across the street from St. John's church and walkable to everything, including food. We liked the hotel manager. And, the price cannot be beat. But, don't be expecting luxury accomodations. You won't find them here.

4 of us stayed here for two nights at the end of trip in 3 rooms. While the attendant was accommodating and informative, the property as a whole left us wanting. Each night the main hallway was filled with cigarette smoke which entered the rooms and was very uncomfortable. Showers were only possible from 6-10 and each time the whole bathroom floor was flooded accept when the water pressure was so low you could barely manage a shower. The heating units in 2 of the rooms didn’t have working remotes. There is no elevator so you must walk up 2 flights of stairs just to get to the first floor. Finally the breakfast was very meager and the eggs were always cold. They had no microwave so we had to ask to us the stove to refry them each time for them to be usable.

Good

Solo stay

Average hotel, nothing fancy about it, nothing really exceptional, below western standards for cheap/average hotels. -On the positive side : easy to find parking spots around in the city, wifi was working okay at 8 PM, the room had an interesting view on the street and the included breakfast was okay with a nice rooftop with view. -On the negative side : noisy street/bad isolation (I could ear the sound from outside even with earplugs) and also bad isolation from inside sounds, the door of the room had a large space at the base. Tired room, old uncomfortable beds full of springs that you can easily feel in your back. Tired/bad looking bathroom without a proper door, super small shower where you almost can't stand without touching the shower curtains... Also the wifi was not working properly at 8 AM, probably because many guests used it at the same time.
