This place was terrible. I just checked into the hotel this afternoon, and, unfortunately, the accommodations are unacceptable. The first room had a nonfunctioning television with a view of a homeless encampment. I asked for another room, and the staff graciously offered me another suite. However, that room had a non-functional air-conditioning unit. It rattled at a high decibel level. I then asked for a third room as an alternative, and this room had the same homeless encampment view, just one floor up, and the couch was soiled with numerous unidentifiable stains. After the third try, I figured this was not working out, and they wouldn't give me a refund. It was infuriating.

FantasticSolo stay
It was value for money and well maintained in the heart of the city. Only improvement I would suggest is to add few additional things in the bathroom

This hotel was fine. Not a really fun part of town, very industrial and lots of constructions and you gotta walk a bit to get to restaurants and stuff.
Suggest staying in Chelsea instead or soho or lower east side.

GreatSolo stay
The hotel is well located within the reach of Hudson River piers, now a very trendy area, at the moment, with a younger crowd into fitness. I'm afraid I've noticed that the hotel's proprietor should take more care of rooms repairs, and well maintenance of the hotel overall. It's been nicely decorated, but services like wifi and local NYC tv channels were poor at times. Overall the staff were very attentive and keen to help, with any of the guests staying issues arising. Certain requests from the guests , should be more heard and acted upon. For instance, if the guest asks for the room to be cleaned at the early opportunity, it should be done accordingly. Apart from that, it was a very nice and confortable stay that will be repeated. Another annoying thing was that the smell of cigarettes smoking in the evening was intense. Should not be happening, as the premises are smoking-free and should be monitored more intensely. I suffer from respiratory issues and it was not pleasant. Moreover, I was told that there was a 'restaurant' annexed that was closed. It should be a good idea to reconsider franchising the empty space, to offer guests the chance, at least, mornings fresh brewed coffee or tea, and some bakery delicatessen that always embellished the guests stays. Well done and keep the good work, you have a good product there.

Below average The room was not as pictured. This"hotel" was a partially renovated motel... If you like luxury stays this is not it.. it's more like a brothel in Amsterdam..

GreatStayed with family
Hotel was clean and cozy. My family of four were comfortable a little small but understandable considering we were in New York. Only dislike was they never went by to freshen up the room to throw trash or bring fresh towels. Other than that all good. Would stay again.

FantasticStayed with friends · For friends and family
Spacious. Friendly, approachable, and helpful staff. 3 blocks from Subway . Patio space is very nice. Good breakout space without leaving the hotel. A/C was excellent. Overall one of the best stays I've had in NY.
