Stayed here for 7 nights. Perfect location to explore all the D-Day beaches from Utah to sword and st mere eglise to Pegasus bridge. Overall, We were happy with our room, clean and beds were comfortable and the hotel was nice and in very good location. Bayeux is a lovely town. Car parking was also useful at hotel. Good selection of continental breakfast which all seemed fresh and plentiful. Hotel bar was a good place to end in the evenings. Although there is no air/con at this hotel and we stayed on the hottest June week on record (40c on one day) the staff tried their best to help by issuing extra fans and water to rooms. A very short walk into town finds you lots of great places to eat etc. One important thing to bear in mind is that it seems that a lot of shops are shut on Sunday and Monday when we were there….including lots of the restaurants…so don’t leave it too late to go out to get a table 😉best places we ate were Le domesday, La fringale,Le Drakker & La Table. Great food and drink from these. The only minor point I had with our hotel was the really poor WiFi reception on the 3rd floor…it was fine everywhere downstairs so we made do. Perhaps it was just the heat affecting it. But apart from that we were very happy with our stay.. ALL the staff we encountered were excellent and a real credit to the hotel. We would happily recommend hotel de brunville and stay here again. Many thanks from the uk.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, a little warm at times but as this a historic building they cannot install A/C. The bar is excellent, as is the local brew Barya. Out motorbikes were parked securely in the private car park, which costs €16 per space per night (3 bikes in one space, no problem.) The hotel is superbly located for access to town centre cafes and restaurants. Thoroughly recommended.

The staff was absolutely amazing. In particular, Clara went out of her way to be friendly and helpful from the minute we entered the hotel lobby. The location was perfect with access to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions within easy walking access.

Rooms were a bit small but the location was good for access to the town. Breakfast was fine, nothing extravagant.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Hôtel de Brunville & Spa. The staff at the reception were all friendly and professional. The room was small and with limited storage space but it was well maintained. It had a kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. The courtesy tray with tea, coffee and mineral water was replenished daily. They had a small bar next to the reception. The reception staff also covered the bar. The service from everybody was wonderful. We were especially impressed by the young gentleman who gave us a brief "introduction to Calvados" course when we were unsure which one to order. The young lady who once served our country pate and on another occasion our boeuf bourgignons was also friendly and professional. The food and snacks we had at the bar were good. It was also very practical to have a place where you could get some snacks at any time of the day as the restaurant opening times in Bayeux were not very user friendly: They were open for lunch, closed, and reopened at 7pm. We once booked the spa for 90 minutes. It was very nice: They had a very high quality Finnish sauna and a jacuzzi. The spa area was also very cosy. If we come back to Bayeux we will almost certainly again stay at Hôtel de Brunville & Spa. That is partly due to the good location and nice room, but mainly due to the lovely staff.

Staff were super inviting and helpful. Amenities were great, very clean room! Bar was beautiful, great spot to relax after a long day. Loved the location too! Parking was very convenient.
