From the moment you step into the lobby, the atmosphere feels calm, elegant, and unhurried. Every member of the staff we encountered was warm, gracious, and genuinely attentive, making our stay feel effortless from beginning to end.
Dining was exceptional. Plumeria’s breakfast buffet offers an excellent variety of high-quality options. The Seaside Grill is perfect for a casual lunch by the pool or beach, with delicious food and refreshing cocktails. Alan Wong’s is an excellent choice for a special occasion, but Arancino was our family’s favorite. The pasta was outstanding, and after dining there twice, we only wished we had stayed long enough to try their other offerings.
What truly sets The Kahala apart is its tranquility. While many luxury resorts are lively and crowded, The Kahala is a peaceful retreat where the sound of the ocean replaces the noise of the crowds. Whether relaxing on the lanai, walking the beautiful grounds, or enjoying the beach, there’s an unmistakable sense of serenity that allows you to completely unwind.
The Kahala has become our family’s favorite hotel and will be our first choice whenever we return to Oahu. It is the very definition of quiet luxury, and we are already looking forward to our next stay.
