The indoor pool was not at the level of a Fairmont. The food was good, but not exceptional. Food service was very slow. Some restaurants weren’t accessible, as expected. The rooms were extremely small.

Staff was very helpful and professional. They have multiple activities available that are included with the stay. There is also a free shuttle to the village and gondola in Lake Louise. Had a view of the lake from my room which I highly recommend. The restaurants are excellent and recommend getting a reservation ahead of time for lunch and dinner. There are multiple trails to hike in the area and saw a black bear on the side of the road from the shuttle. Had a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Everything about our stay at this magical hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were warm and attentive, the food was delicious, and our immaculate room came with a lake view that honestly felt a little unfair to every other hotel. The Basin Glacial Experience was a highlight, and the surprisingly amazing Aufguss ritual completely won us over. We loved every single moment and were not quite ready to return to real life.

The only area where we have criticisms is in the food offerings. As with the other parts of the hotel, the service was consistently good to excellent. The food itself, however, was generally lacking in terms of choice/variety, flavor/seasoning and value. The various dining spaces are amazing aesthetically; it’s a shame that the food didn’t live up to these spaces. We also felt it to be a missed opportunity that no food/beverage service is offered for the outside seating areas (beyond fire services). This would seemingly generate a great deal of high margin revenue. Every other aspect of our stay was magical. Thank you for your hospitality!
