Take your Bali visit to new heights—literally—during this tour of Mount Batur and the surrounding areas! Mount Batur is an active volcano situated in the Bangli region on the island of Bali, Indonesia. While Mount Batur is relatively quiet today, it has erupted a number of times in the past, which explains the vast black lava fields that spill down the slopes of the volcano. On this adventure, you'll take a 4WD jeep to drive through Kintamani and explore Mount Batur. You'll pass through the black sand and lava-formed hills, and admire the breathtaking views of the island from the edge of the volcano. You'll also explore the majestic forest, and finally end the tour with a long, relaxing soak in the healing waters of Batur Natural Hot Spring. Throughout the duration of the experience, expect great stories about the history of the region, as well as interesting information about the features of the landscape!

What people are saying about Adventure Activities in Bali

It was the most fun and adventurous trip in Bali. The driver, Gusti Alit was very nice and polite. He patiently explained to us when we asked him questions to find out about the culture and custom in Bali. First we did water rafting. It was fun but be mentally prepared for the long streak of stairs. Then we did ATV. It was scary at first but the guide ensured that we were safe. Overall it was a fun experience! Would definitely do it again.

Definitely worth the buy! It’s a must do activity if you’re in Bali, tour guide was awesome although location was really far from where I stayed. Would be good to include the exact location and company as it only states Bali sun tour which is an agency. Water Rafting was pretty good but short, could have been more thrilling! It was a mistake I didn’t book twice for the ATV ride!

This is the best experience that I have in Bali. The 4WD driver are extremely friendly and eager to help us take pictures. They are really nice people that live near the mountains as a farmer. He even let me drive the 4WD at Black sands. He get off the car and ran to help us take video! Really fun! I would highly recommend this tour. Hotel-> Coffe break (free) -> start point -> black sands -> hot spring -> buffet lunch break Everything’s are included unless you want to try the coffee luwak (50k rp)

As shared by others, this was a very good deal. I had 5 pax so we booked 2 x double, 1 x solo. The car (big MPV) came to pick us up at our AirB&B villa (not a hotel), and the journey took about 45 mins. Upon arrival, we had to validate our Klook booking and sign standard indemnity waiver forms. In the meantime, they served us chilled orange drinks. Lockers are provided for you to keep your belongings. Very safe. You hold onto the key. We started with white water rafting, and Norman was our guide. He was very experienced and helped us navigate many tricky spots. The whole ride was safe and fun! Do wear comfortable clothes or swimming attire as you will definitely get wet. Norman kept our valuables (namely handphones) and slippers in a water proof bag. Lunch was buffet style, ample food. I found it reasonably good, sufficient to fill our stomachs for the next activity. ATV ride was the most memorable! Our guide Chin (I think I spelt his name wrongly) was a bit strict but he clearly knows the routes very well. Safety was most important to him. And he made sure all of us can handle the ATV as it was heavy and hard to steer if you are the kind to panic. I did at the beginning and he made sure I was just right behind him the whole time, which was very assuring. The best part (I think some people may think it scary) was that it rained so hard mid way through our activity. Our group found it so much more exciting and we were thoroughly drenched. All the puddles become deeper, and at some spots, the water rose up to our knees! It got a bit cold too, so I'd recommend if you can bring a disposable raincoat or a poncho to keep warm. It was nice to come back to a warm shower. Many shower cubicles with body soap provided and warm towels. All in all, worth it! Both adults and kids had the best day in Bali!

The itinerary was very well-organized by the management and the price was totally worth it! Great value for money! The tide was relatively low so the river rafting was easier than my previous experience in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The buffet lunch was scrumptious and filled with authentic Balinese cuisine including nasi lemak and mie goreng. The ATV route was clearly designed to be thrilling as it involved multiple types of terrain from flat road, uphill, downhill, bumpy and muddy soil. This is definitely one of the highlights in our 9-day visit in Bali! Good job to the organizers and Klook’s marketing! I will definitely recommend this to my friends!

Flawless from start to finish. Pick up from our hotel was punctual, driver will coordinate over WhatsApp so that makes things very hassle free. Rafting experience was very fun even though it hasn’t rained in months, beware the hike back up though especially if you’re unfit like me 😂 Lunch was tasty but not much vegetarian options. Combining it with the ATV was a great choice since the ride out to the venue took considerably long in Bali’s traffic. Overall highly recommended!
