What people are saying about Bike Tours in Shanghai
Did the afternoon bike tour with a young lady named “Su-chi” (forgot her English name) this past Sunday. Two other people who were supposed to be on the tour didn’t show up, so it ended up being just me (private tour, yay). The bike ride was pleasant and the guide was knowledgeable and paid great attention to my safety. We were biking on the streets of Shanghai with all the road traffic so you’d want to be comfortable with it (we used the bike lane but scooters were using the lane too). We got to see places as noted in the itinerary, and also parked the bike and walked a bit in the old alleyways, tianzefeng, and xintiande. I really enjoyed the tour and the guide was very sweet and professional. Would definitely recommend.
I strongly recommend this bike trip. This bike trip is one way to truly enjoy your trip to Shanghai. In addition to the many tourist spots, you can also see the lifestyles and streets of locals in Shanghai. The guide was very good at English and kindly explained to us the history and culture of Shanghai. Shanghai was a good place for biking because there were no mountains, and the roads weren't bad for cycling. The experience of riding a bike with other people in Shanghai has been a good memory for me. If my friend is going to Shanghai, I would definitely recommend this bike trip. One thing to complement is that it was hard to find points that met the guide. I was embarrassed that there was no store at the address described. The fact was that I had to meet a guide in front of the address building. If you see an explanation for this, it may be helpful.
We were a party of 3 and had a good time at this bike tour. Especially Julia our guide was very friendly and good at her job. The group was also very nice and we had a group drink at the boxing cat (local brewery). This activity is more than recommendable, especially if you want to be active and experience Shanghai by night.
