Get away from the engaged city and immerse yourself in the beauty of Bangkok's untouched nature with this one day tour. In the morning, you'll meet up with your guide and group at the lobby of the Adagio Bangkok Hotel. Once everyone's all settled, hop inside the air-conditioned van and make your way to Malika R.E 124, a recreation of a Thai town circa 1905 that takes you back to the time of Rama V. Your next stop is the Kanchanaburi River Kwai Bridge, with its iconic Three Pagodas that support the train queue that runs for 250 miles. Soak in the picturesque sight of the cerulean-blue waters that are bordered by lush greenery and a colorful house every now and then. If time permits, you'll then go for a train ride on the Thai-Burma Railway, dubbed as the Death Railway due to the number of slaves and prisoners of war that died as it was being constructed. During the ride, you'll go over the famous Thamkra Sae, a wooden trailway bridge surrounded by the tall trees. Take a quick break for lunch at a nearby restaurant, at your own expense, before you visit the Kanchanaburi Elephant Camp and meet the cute and cuddly elephants. Spend some time playing with the elephants and bathing them in the river (they're probably even going to spray you with some water as a sign of fun!), then hop on a bamboo raft and enjoy a few moments of serenity as you drink up the awesome view of Kanchanaburi River from a new perspective. After having fun with the elephants and the boat ride, you'll then change into dry clothing, before you pack up and head back to the city.
Get out of bustling Bangkok and visit the sleepy town of Kanchanaburi! Satisfy your curiosity with a dose of culture as you explore the historical landmark. On this full day tour, witness the beat-up old streets symbolic to Kanchanaburi's tragedies and triumphs during World War II under the imperial rule of the Japanese. Begin the day early as you meet with your English or Chinese speaking guide at the Siam Paragon Mall. Just before noon, you will get to enjoy a sumptious local-style lunch before moving on towards the infamous Death Railway for scenic views of the River Kwai. Revisit your history lessons as you step on earth once more at the Ancient City Wall, where you'll find mini Angkor Wat monuments surrounding the park. Stroll around at the Historic Old Street––one of the last ancient pieces within Kanchanaburi––popular for its night markets and allied cemeteries. Dig deeper into Thailand's war chronicles as you recount the unfortunate events on a boat ride on River Kwai. End the tour with a relaxing walk on the River Kwai Bridge. Return to Bangkok filled with memories and new lessons from this insightful tour. Complete with guide and a round trip transfer service, Kanchanaburi is worth every mile traveled as you fall for its mythical charm.

Meet your English-speaking guide and fellow travelers at either 9:00am or 2:00pm, depending on your preference. Catch a glimpse of the city's Muslim community as you continue on to Chinatown, one of the largest of its kind in the world. What people are saying about River Tours in Bangkok
Worth the time and money you spent. The little details which Klook prepared is amazing, and the tour guide is fantastic, she can speak dual-language (Mandarin & English). A must visit place in Bangkok Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Maeklong Railway Market. At the floating market, must have the scrumptious coconut ice-cream and local food. As for buying the items, bargain more! While at the Maeklong Railway Market, it's a must visit place as hard to get such market where train will passby and all shops need to be moved away. A unique experience! Thank you Klook and would love to use more curated plans in the future!
Ms. Cherry was a lovely tour guide, very pleasant and spoke good English and accommodated well, even our tour companions who were late for the meet up time. We had a wonderful time visiting all the temples in the itinerary and you get ample time learning about them from Ms. Cherry and photo-taking time for each. Take note that lunch is not included in this package, only bottled water, so bring cash. The longboat ride was a fun way to see Bangkok from a different perspective. Make sure to give enough time to get to the meet-up point as traffic can get bad.
Wonderful experience booking this tour. Klook provided a bus that made us so comfortable travelling approximately 2hours heading to Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market. Our tour guide, Bon, was a nice man. He gave us details needed in our tour and he even gave us recommendations about what to do in Bangkok. Good job, Bon! Thanks, Klook for the experience!
Good value for money (a taxi from Bangkok to the market costs around 1000 bth), the departure time was respected. Our guide (Phaisan) was awesome. We took the excursion with our 18 month old boy and it was not a constraint for the excursion. It was great I highly recommend ????
Booked the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market. Meeting location was easy to locate. Jenny was our tour guide. On our way to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Jenny told us the basic history of Bangkok and taught us some basic Thai language.
At Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, we sat on a boat and travel around the floating market for about 40 mins. The foods price are fix but the souvenirs are allow to bargain. There's halal restaurant after the tour.
At Maeklong Railway Market, we are allowed to walk on our own for about 2 hours. The train can be seen twice at 11.10am and 11.30am. There is also a massage parlour which cost about 350 baht. We don't see any halal restaurant there.
On our way back we were allowed to choose to drop at IconSiam, Asiatique or Siam Paragon. Jenny bought us some fruits and she gave us drinking water during the tour.
An amazing tour! Highly recommend the early tour that starts at 7am. The traffic is not too bad at the time and you will get time to sleep on the bus. You also get back to Bangkok with a half day remaining! Our tour guide Wasim was amazing! He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He definitely made the tour more enjoyable. He taught us Thai phrases to use while bargaining. The tour gave us enough time to wander on our own and take in the scenery. Highly recommend this tour if you want to go to floating and railway market conveniently!
