Amazing experience that we will never forget! Worth the money worth the scenic journey. Best winter experience in Hokkaido seeing the cute penguins parade at Asahiyama Zoo then we had lunch at Furano Herb Garden and tasted the Lavendar Ice Cream. Captured the beautiful view of Shirahige Waterfall but nothing much on the blue pond as everywhere is covered in thick snow. Last pit stop is the The Ningle Terrace, the cottage style shops and the evening light ups is beautiful during winter.
Wonderful trip that you should never miss when you visit Hokkaido in winter without self arrangement on transport on the frozen roads. There are actually 3 attractive spots in this trip excluding the lunch restaurant + souvenir shop. It is rather insufficient time to spend on each spots as there are crowds of visitors, i.e. the main drawback of the whole trip.
It is amazing to see penguins that are very funny .. the atmosphere is just right because it is not too crowded so satisfied. Our guide Joe is very kind, friendly and informative to tell many things about Japan's superior products such as abalone in the north, milk in Hokkaido, horse oil that is abundant in Hokkaido, Wagyu & Hida meat that tastes amazing
Highly recommend to join the tour if you aren't driving in Hokkaido. The sites are quite complicated to go if you travel with public transportations. The zoo itself is amazing and the tour gave you enough time to walk around. Our tour guide Joe is very nice and gave so much information about Hokkaido which only locals know.
It's always nice to visit a zoo once in a while! I really enjoyed watching the penguin walk!😍 Meeting place was very accessible from our hotel. Our tour guide was Joey from HK but he's been living in Japan for 13 years already was very good and informative. He speaks good English, even Cantonese and Japanese, although he speaks so fast. While on the bus he gave us some history of Japan, specifically Hokkaido, the Japanese people, their ways of life, attitude, and living. I learned a lot from him. The buffet lunch at Herb Garden was really good! There were a lot of food choices! I love the Shirahige waterfalls. Sooo beautiful! The Ningle Terrace was so so, a view of tall trees and cottages (village). Overall, this tour was really worth it! I'm glad we availed this from Klook!👍
This Hokkaido day tour from sapporo was one of the best experience we had on our hokkaido trip. It’s worth the money because it was our first time to see penguins, polar bears and sea lions that were found in Asahiyama Zoo. The breath-taking view in Shirogane blue pond is also a must see if ever you want to roam around Hokkaido. The buffet food was so satisfying and tasty.
